Its Pretties Wednesday! Jillian's challenge from two weeks ago was to make it new again, take a stamp that was one of yours first and create something. Well....I decided that since I have not been exploring all of my stamp lines that I should do so and the line that I seem to be using the least at the moment is my Magnolia's. So this card is created from a stamp that was from my first order of three Magnolia stamps. I love this line but I never seem to have a chance to play with them! Isn't this image adorable! Perfect for the weather we have been having in New Jersey too....hot, humid and gross! Do you love the Primas? I picked them up last ngiht at Michael's and I love them! They come in these super cute and jam packed tins of flowers! Hope you enjoy!

Finding Friendship
I joined a Gruffies card swap over on SCS so I thought I would share the card I created for it. This Gruffie is called 'Finding Friendship' and it is SO cute! If you haven't seen the Gruffies stamps yet, you really should check them out. I ordered 5 different stamps a few months ago and I have yet to ink up two of these, which is not a good thing, but I am getting to them! All of the stamps from the Gruffies line are adorable, I ordered mine from HM Stamps. HMs stamps has excellent customer service and Dick, the store owner, keep all his customers posted through wonderful monthly newsletters. Hope you enjoy the rest of your Sunday!

MFT Guest Designer Challenge
With each MFT stamp release Kim holds a wonderful challenge where one person is selected to be a Guest Designer for My Favorite Things based on an item they created for a challenge. Last night I gave the challenge a shot and I love how my card came out! I used Prima Sprites as my inspiration and went from there. The challenge was to create a card using black cardstock and black embellishments, but I had no black paper! I had to stop by the store before trying this challenge and I am glad I made that trip to the store! Hope you enjoy it!

Last one....
For now...This card marks the end of the my cards for Manda's Monthly Bella Card Swap, but have no fear I signed up for another Manda swap, but not a monthly. We had a theme of our choice in one of the spots and I had to go with my Savy Shopabella which I love, a simple but fun card. I love these colors, as you can tell I am sure, I use them all the time and I think they work for so many things. Hope you enjoy this card, hopefully I can post my MFT Challenge card, the challenge is to use black cardstock and black embellishments, so I had to take a trip to the store tonight. Hope to see you here again tomorrow!

Pretties Wednesday!
Today is Wednesday so that means its Paper Pretties Challenge time! This week I am sharing the baby card I created based on Jana's Baby card challenge. I used the Cuddle Me Sophia for the main image and paper pieced her dress and bow to match the background. I then mounted the background paper on white paper and scalloped the base. The to add a bit more I used 5/8" thick grosgrain ribbon and the sentiment 'Made with Love' to finish it off. I love this color challenge and how simple the card is, its classy but not over done. Hope you enjoy it ladies, make sure you stop by the other Pretties Girls blogs, there are some great baby cards out there to check out! Have a great night!Stamps: Cuddle Me from Paper Pretties; Paper: Whisper White, SU! Rose Red, SU! Prints Sampler DP; Ink: Noir Black, E00 Skin White, E31 Brick Beige, Y11 Pale Yellow; Accessories: May Arts 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon, Corner Rounder

Soul Sisters
Another Stamping Bella card I created for Manda's Monthly Bella Swap! That means that I only have one more to share with you, woo-hoo! I love using my Bellas, but I only pull them out when I have a reason, so they sit in their little Stamping Bella Bindahs, poor things. I decided to use some of my new PaperTrey supplies for these cards so I pulled out the newest PTI paper colors of Kraft and Lavender Moon to get started and finished the card using some of the decorative paper found in the 12 x 12 Bitty Baby Blessings paper pack. I love the PTI colors and I have been using them on many of my cards recently, in fact I am already looking forward to the next colors that must be coming out, if they are anything like the colors that have already been revealed I can only imagine what will come next! Be sure to stop by tomorrow for Pretties Wednesday, the challenge was most definitely a challenge, but I got just the thing.

For Hope
So today I thought I would share a card I created what seems like ages ago, but in reality was a little over a month ago. This card was for one of the Gina K. Swaps that Joanne B. has hosted through SCS’s Gina K. Stamps forum. I took two spots in the swap, but we aren’t supposed to share them until everyone has received their cards, we don’t want to spoil the surprise! Now that the swap is completed I can share my creations with my neglected Gina K. stamps. I love Gina’s stamp lines and I own more than I can count, but I seem to have them arrive, I cut them up to get them ready but I do not grab them enough. I am trying to work on using the stamps that I own which is why I signed up for two different Gina K. swaps, these swaps help me stay on point and get those stamps in my collection some quality ink time. Tomorrow I have another Stamping Bella card to share; this one is another card for Manda’s Monthly Stamping Bella swap! I am finally done with all of the cards for this swap and I am thrilled! I will be making a stop to the post office this week to get that one out along with a secret sister swap package that needs to go postal. After these swaps I may be sticking to only the Wish RAK Secret Exchanges for a while, I have been horrible with swap deadlines and it is not fair to the hostess and participants, hopefully I will get more time this summer and I can join in on the fun once again. Hope you enjoy my Gina K. swap card; I can’t wait to share the other one with you too! I love the ribbon I used on this card, I just remember that it is a May Arts ribbon and it is totally yummy!

Off to School Sophia
Here she is, and isn't she totally adorable! During the Paper Pretties stamp release Pajama Party Charmaine posted a challenge to use button and I could not find my button collection any where. After combing through everything I found these cute button brads I had purchased through Gina K. Stamps and decided to use them in place of the little buttons on Sophia's dress. Now how do you order this stamp you ask? Off to School Sophia will not be available until July, but if you sign up today for the Paper Pretties Stamp of the Month Club she will be showing up on your door step during the month of June! Today is that last day to sign up for June's SoTM, so be sure to sign up today! These stamps are sure to be wonderful each and every month!Stamps: Off to School Sophia from Paper Pretties; Paper: SU! Tempting Turquoise, Whisper White; Ink: B00 Frost Blue, B05 Process Blue, E00 Skin White, E31 Brick Beige, Y11 Pale Yellow; Accessories: Pastel button Babies from Gina K.

Patriotic Bella!
I had wanted to post a card for the last few days but I have been in a bit of a 'funk' about some things so I didn't feel up to sharing with anyone, but today I am feeling so much better. I had the intention of posting a picture of the cute Miss Sophia from Paper Pretties but I forgot my markers at work today so she is almost done, but not yet! Tomorrow I will share with you Sophia and today is all about Bella! This is another card I created for Manda's Monthly Stamping Bella Swap with the theme of 'patriotic'. I made the card a little more chic than I typically do, but I love how it came out. I centered the image, but shifted it to create more of a dynamic card, then I accented the card base with some red and blue baubles. There is something about Cosmobella that I just love, and I think she really pulls this card together. Be sure to stop by tomorrow, I am out of my 'funk' and Sophia (with some buttons) is out coming to play!

Fun in the Sun
Yesterday Wish RAK hosted card challenges for all of its members, I in fact was one of the 12 hostesses we had. If you stopped by at all you would have enjoyed all of the challenges we whipped up, the rules were simple, use at least one item on your card that you received through Wish RAK and note which item it was.
As a hostess I created 3 simple fun example cards using my challenge which was 'Fun in the Sun'. There are so many possibilities about what you think about when you think about the summer, so each sample represented another way of thinking. Hope you enjoy my simple Wish RAK cards, it was a lot of fun yesterday, and if you are participating, you have until tonight to post your cards!

Flocked Fun
Did you stop by the Pajama Party last night over at Paper Pretties? Last night the party was so much fun and all sorts of gals came out to party with us. All three new sets were released last night and can now be seen in the Paper Pretties store and they are great! Charmaine hosted three challenges as well last night and they were great! This card I made from the color challenge she posted, chocolate chip, light blue, and celery. I thought about it and decided I wanted to use some of my fun flock, so I dug through all my goodies to find one that fit that color challenge! I think the card came out nicely, the fun flock really adds some nice dimension. Two more challenges to share, make sure to stop by this weekend to see what else I created.Stamps: One of Those Days by Paper Pretties; Paper: SU! Celery, Basic Grey Blush, Whisper White; Ink: B00 Frost Blue, E31 Brick Beige, Y21 Buttercup Yellow; Accessories: Caramel Latte Tan Flock, May Arts Ribbon

Sweets for the Sweet
It is almost Pajama Party time over at Paper Pretties....are you ready?! As promised here is my last sneak peak before the release tonight, this image comes from the third stamp set Sweets for the Sweet. I love how this set coordinates so well with the previously released stamp sets, always thinking those Pretties Girls are! For this card I used the cute pie image and some Basic Grey paper from the Blush line. The sentiment I picked to use is the 'Hey good lookin, what ya got cookin?' matching perfectly with all the images. This set comes with six sentiments and seven different baking related image, making this set super versatile. Are we all ready to party! Stop by the Paper Pretties forum soon for the party, it is sure to be a blast!Stamps: Sweets for the Sweet from Paper Pretties; Paper: Real Red, Whisper White, PTI Kraft, Basic Grey Blush; Ink: E31 Brick Beige, E50 Egg Shell, R17 Lipstick Orange; Accessories: Real Red Brads, Mavry Giga Scalloped Oval Punch, Mavry Mega Oval Punch
Bestest Bella Friends
Ladies! I have been super busy creating cards; I only have one more to create for Manda’s Monthly Stamping Bella swap after all that card making! I had intended to take pictures last night of all the cards I created, but alas that did not happen so I do not have my last sneak peak ready to post for tonight’s release yet, but as soon as I get home that ‘Sweet’ card is going up! In the mean time I thought I would share one of my recently made Bella cards for Manda’s Swap. Can you guess the theme to this one? I would think you could tell, or at least I hope that I made it clear enough, but it is all about ‘Bestest Friends’. I used Huggeybella and the cute ‘Bestest Friends’ sentiment for this card. I also dug out my dusty Copic glitter pens to add a little shine to the girls, I think it works. I love the decorative paper I used on this one, to be honest I don’t know where I got it from but I have a pad of paper from this collection and I love it! Be sure to stop by tonight for my last sneak peak for tonight’s Paper Pretties release, and don’t miss out on the Pajama Party tonight over at the Paper Pretties forum, its sure to be fun!

Look Out World
Ironically, I shared a sneak peak with you yesterday for the new Paper Pretties stamp set One of Those Days and today was in fact "One of Those Days" at work. But alas, I survived so that I could share with you today another wonderful sneak peak of one of the three stamp sets to be released tomorrow night over at the Paper Pretties forum. Today I am sharing with you a really cute set featuring Cooper, the newest Paper Pretties character. This new set called Look Out World comes with this adorable Cooper stamp and the matching sentiment 'Look out world, here I come!' fitting perfectly with the set name. I decided I should make Mr.Cooper (how cute does that sound!) his own masculine card with some antique brass embellishments. So what do you think? Are you ready to come out tomorrow night and join the Paper Pretties team. I can't wait to see you all there, three new stamp sets and three challenges, its going to rock! If you have yet to stop by the Paper Pretties forum make sure to drop by and register before the festivities begin so you can join in on all the fun!Stamps: Look Out World from Paper Pretties; Paper: SU! Garden Green, Whisper White, Basic Grey Mellow; Ink: Noir Black, B29 Ultramarine, E00 Skin White, E31 Brick Beige, G02 Spectrum Green, G05 Emerald Green, G17 Forest Green, Y06 Yellow; Accessories: Brass Eyelets

One of Those Days....
This first card I am sharing with you features the new Paper Pretties stamp set One of Those Days. This little chick just makes me smile. I stamped the image twice, once for the chick and egg shell, the other for just the egg shell. I also used the Paper Pretties stamp set Rainy Day Friends for the rain drops and puddle to make this poor chicks day even worse. I love the sentiment that goes with this set; the first time I read it (backwards of course in the acrylic) I started laughing. Of course that drew some attention so I had to let me my and sister see the image, they loved it and you will too! The new stamps that are being released this Thursday are a lot of fun and seem to coordinate with the rest of the stamp line nicely. I feel so bad for this little guy, but at the same time I know what he's going though and this card would surely brighten someone's tough day. Stop by tomorrow for more sneak peaks, there are two more sets to share! In addition to the great stamp sets being released, there is a special going on for people who order during the release party! 'Anyone who orders Paper Pretties' Stamps during the release party will recieve a 25% off coupon for their ENTIRE next order!' So stop by, partake in challenges and order some great stamps.

May Flowers
Woo-hoo! Another one bites the dust! I have now completed all of the image coloring and my second of the six cards, I am just flying though these things now...lol. The theme for this one is supposed to be May Flowers, but something seems off.
I have been looking at this card and something seems to not fit, but both my mom and my sister say I am being over critical, oh well I tried. I am working on the friends card now with Huggyabella, I just love this stamp but it has so many little details that were driving me crazy. The little bits in images are pretty hard to color using Copic markers, even though the images are more vibrant, they sometimes take a lot more work due to ink bleeding. Hope you enjoy this Flowahbella card, she was one of my first Bellas and she is just too cute! I should be posting another card tomorrow, so stop by!

Not good...
Recently I have been a horrible swapper. I keep signing up for swaps without finishing the ones I am already in. I have posted several times before about Manda's monthly bella swap on SCS. I started out strong then it went down hill from there, I was late for the last two months and I feel horribly about it. Today I finally finished one of the six cards I need to send out and I think it turned out nicely. The problem I have with Bella cards is that I am too picky when I color in the images, I start out coloring and if I don't like it I trash it. Not the best thing to do with that many cards that need to go out, so now 1 down, 3 different main images are colored and they are all mounted. I need to pick two more Bellas to color in and get started on those...then I have a Gina K. Swap and a Gruffies Swap....talk about in over my head! So you should be seeing cards from all sorts of companies posted here as I complete these swap cards. Stay tuned!

Lovebug Window
So here it is the card I created for this weeks Paper Pretties Wednesday. This challenge was issued by Christie the mastermind behind Paper Pretties and is all about acrylic. As I said earlier I love to create magic cards with acrylic sheets, but since they were missing I decided to create a window card instead.
I used my Scor-Pal to create diagonal score line accross the face of the card then I pulled out my Cuttlebug and my Rectanglar Nestabilities to create this lovely little window. Then I stamped this little buggie from the Love Bug stamp set. Most cards with this stamp feature both Mr. and Mrs. Wade E. Bug, but I thought Mrs. Bug has been in the background for far too long, she deserved a spot front and center. To finish off the card I added the one of the big brads from my Paper Pretties Bella Box to two sizes of Prima flowers to create a layered effect and added the included sentiment 'Be My Lovebug'. What do you think about the picture? I got home while it was still light out so I took this shot off the back yard deck. I love natural light if possible for my pictures. Enjoy ladies!

Oh My....
So I already know what you’re thinking….where is that card she promised us? Well, after some issues I did create a card using plastic, note I say plastic…I can not find my acrylic sheets anywhere! I have an entire pad full of acrylic sheets and I can’t find it at all. I spent at least two hours tearing apart my room to no avail. I did finally use a clear card envelope for my acrylic, but it wasn’t thick enough for the magic card I had planned. Then once the card was done I couldn’t find my camera, it wasn’t in the case where I leave it, so after searching some more then I gave up and went to bed. Of course this morning while I was getting ready for work my camera was found! Someone in my family borrowed it for my brother’s baseball game. Once I get home tonight I am going to take a picture and post the card, it came out cute, but unfortunately not what I had planned for the challenge. Once I find the acrylic sheets I will make a magic card and it will be wonderful! Until later, have a lovely day!

Happy Mother's Day!
I wanted to wish you all a very Happy Mother's Day! Today I got up and made my mom waffles with all sorts of berries plus I picked up some berry syrup as well to make the meal complete. Afterwards I spent some time with her in the garden. We were planning where we will be adding more plants to fill up those empty spots that happen every year with some perennials. My brother and sister went with Mom to Blockbuster to distract her while I picked up her gifts....an hour massage and a pedicure! A little bit of pampering is what she needs! I also created this card while she was gone, a bit last minute, but I love how it turned out!
The paper and ribbon is from PaperTrey and the stamp sets both come from Gina K. Stamps, isn't it too cute! We went to an early dinner and when we got home my sister unveiled the cake she got for us, over cake we pulled out all her gifts and she loved this card. I have been looking at these stamp set since they arrived and I finally got to ink them up! The sets I used were Just So Hippy and Hip Hop Accessories from the Melanie Muenchinge line available from Gina K. Designs I hope your Mother's Day was as wonderful as mine!Stamps: Hip Hop Accessories and Just so Hippy from Melanie Muenchinge at Gina K; Paper: PTI Summer Sun, PTI Lemon Tart, Whisper White; Ribbon PTI Summer Sun Grosgrain; Markers: Y11 Pale Yellow, YG23 New Leaf, TR23 Yellow Ochre, YR31 Light Reddish Yellow; Accessories: Light Yellow Brads

Pretties Wednesday!
So this Wednesday the challenge is to make a masculine card...OMG! Do you know how hard that is with these stamps?! So I pulled out my Look Who's Perky stamp set from Paper Pretties and got stamping. While I was trying to decide which stamps to use I noticed that there were only two images in the set that I had yet to ink up.
We can't have that now can we so I inked up those poor deprived stamps. I tried to stick to the browns and greens with this card adding in a little garnet and a small amount of teal to wrap up the color scheme. While this card was a challenge but I really like the way this card came out, a little more masculine then most of my cards, but I think it works. Hope you enjoy!

Out on a Limb
One of my coworkers asked me to create a card for their Wife for Mother's Day and he wanted the card to be large. Sorry the image is so poor, I brought it to work and took a picture there, which was obviously a bad idea.
I used the PaperTrey stamp set Out on a Limb and Gina K. Stamps sentiment 'Happy Mother's Day' that was part of the Kindred Greetings For Her. I like how this came out, he wanted a simple card that was mostly white, with accents of some colors. I went with PaperTrey's Sweet Blush for the light colors. The ribbon that flanks the side of the card over the binding I created (it holds together two sheets of 8.5 x 11 Bazzil cardstock) is from May Arts. Hope you enjoy the card, sorry I haven't posted, I am taking on a new task at work as an Assistant Manager in the region I work for so I have had little time to stamp, but hopefully I can attempt the Pretties Wednesday challenge tomorrow!

Tilda
I still have a large amount of stamps that I have yet to ink up, but I am trying to get those images stamped out as much as I can. I colored in this adorable Tilda from Magnolia Stamps on Monday and it has taken until now to actually complete this card, but its done! I used some of the cute Prima flowers that I own and never seem to use as well as one of the new sets from PaperTrey Garden of Life for the background on this card.
I love how this card came out, not colors I typically use but they really seem to work well together. I also love how my shading really came out on this card, I seem to be improving on my Copic marker skills and I am thrilled. Like anything practice makes perfect, so maybe one day I will reach near perfect with these markers. I have been asked by a few people where I get my Copics from so I thought I would let you know. I joined Gina K. Copic club, from which I a getting the entire Copic Ciao Box "D". I have also ordered some of the Copic Sketch markers from electricPaperie, eBay (not my favorite but typically cheaper), and most recently my Copic Ciao markers have been coming from Hanna Stamps. There are many places to order these markers from, but I try to look for the larger varieties and the best price, if I am close with an order to be eligible for free shipping I look around...always a sucker for free shipping. Have a great one all!

Hanna Travels
Last night was the Hanna Stamps release party, I had plans of grandeur in creating a wonderful card for the challenge that was issued, but I ran out of time! I got home last night at 6:40 and had 20 minutes to create and post a card, oh my! I pulled out the colors for the challenge and got to coloring this Traveling Hanna image, which is pretty cute, only to find that my camera wasn’t working! EEEK! I had no idea what the problem was, before I knew it there was no more time and my camera was not cooperating.
I went down and had dinner only to come back and find that I had been charging the camera battery and didn’t replace it in the camera…silly me! So by the time the party started I was able to take a picture and post the card I created, I love how I colored in this Hanna, but I don’t like the base at all, its just too simple and plain, but I had to try to create a card to be done in time. The party was a lot of fun and I ordered a few stamps, I mean how could I not order a stamp or two with those images!

Prettie Wednesday!
Silly me, I almost forgot that today was Wednesday which means it time for the Prettie Girls to issue a challenge. This week Joni, our faboulous illustrator, issued the challenge which was to use paper piecing. I LOVE this technique, and I use it all the time, in fact most of the cards I have been making recently are paper pieced.
I decided to use another one of my new stamps and this time my card features the cute Sophia from the Rainy Day Friends Paper Pretties set. I used the same color scheme and paper from last night, but made a different style card and I think it came out nicely. I hope you are all enjoying these cards, I have a few cards and challeenges I want to compelte, so be sure to stop by again. I plan on attempting Julee's Mojo Monday Challenge and I have a few swap cards to create and share. Have a great one!

Pretties Challenge
Danielle over at Paper Pretties is hosting weekly challenges in the Paper Pretties forum, so although I am behind on the challenges I am giving them a go.
The first challenge she posted was to create a tri fold card so I made one of the cards I had seen on SCS recently. I used my Simply Special set from Paper Pretties for the main image and PaperTrey cardstock and patterned paper. This is the first time I got the chance to use this new set from Paper Pretties and I love it, the image is clean and cute. Oh, and if you haven't seen or heard yet Christie has some big news to come soon, make to leave your guess as to why the Sophia she posted is special!

Blog Hopping!
Ladies do you know what day it is? Its PaperTrey Ink's Blog Hop Day! The 25th of every month bloggers create cards based on a challenge Nichole issues for that month and post about them. This month its all about the new line of patterned paper from PaperTrey and I was ready to play along!
I decided to use the patterns Nichole posted in the PaperTrey Forum as the base for a wonderful boquet of flowers. I used the patterned paper and stamped the rose type flower from the new set Garden of Life over the paper. I then cut out each image and stamped some leaves and stems on the card base using Spring Moss PTI ink.
I used dimensionals to give the card some 'pop' and added Summer Sunrise Grosgrain ribbon across the card base to ground the flowers. I then stamped the totally cute sentiment 'Friends are the flowers in the garden of life' in Summer Sunrise to complete my card. Make sure to visit the forum and check out the other wonderful creations!Stamps: Garden of Life; Paper: PTI White, PTI Summer Sunrise, PTI Lemon Tart; Ink: PTI Summer Tart, PTI Spring Moss; Embellisments: PTI Summer Sunrise Classic Grosgrain Ribbon

Pretties Wednesday Meets Mojo
So many challenges to do and there is only so much time so today I combined the Paper Pretties Wednesday Challenge and this weeks Mojo Monday. I also decided since it was a Pretties contest to use the always wonderful Sophia stamp 'Cuddle Me' as my main image.
Each week one of the Pretties Girls issues a challenge, the last challenge that was compelted was to create a polka dot card, so I pulled out my Two Scoops paper from Basic Grey and got going. I love Julee's weekly Mojo Monday sketches so I used that sketch as the base for this card...hope you enjoy it!
Stamps: Cuddle Me from Paper Pretties, Ink: E00, E31, Y15, Paper: Two Scoops Basic Grey DP, PTI Spring Moss, SU Garden Green, SU Whisper White

Show Off!
I received all of my goodies from the latest PaperTrey release and I just had to play, so I decided to 'Show Off' by dressing Wade E. Bug up in some new gear.
I used Summer Sunrise and Lemon Tart, the new colors from PaperTrey and this SUPER cute stamp from Paper Pretties. I love the colors and the overall look to this card, really nice dreads on a really nice day. The decorative paper is also from PaperTrey from their Father Knows Best collection, I think it goes perfectly with Mr. Wade, don't you? Enjoy ladies!

Think Pink SC172
I read this earlier today and I had to share. Kim from My Favorite Things has lost a friend to very rare form of ovarian cancer. To help raise money to help offset the massing medical bills Kim will donate a percentage of sales from MFT. Starting today (Tuesday 15th April), Kim will be offering a 10% discount on ALL stamps on her site. Use the coupon code Tish at checkout to receive 10% off all the stamps in your shopping cart. (This discount is only for stamps, the other items in your cart will not be discounted.) The coupon code will run from Tuesday, April 15th until Friday, April 18th. A benefit has been planned to help the family offset their mounting medical bills and Kim will donate 10% of ALL proceeds (both from stamp sales and other items on the site) to the family at their April 26th benefit. I came home today and went through all my stamp sets to order the ones I had yet to buy, any bit helps. So do your part and check out the site to see what you can do.

Verve Visual
I have a long list of challenges I want to complete and today I gave the Verve Visual Honored Guest Challenge #2 Sketch a go. Julee always posts wonderful sketches on Mondays for her Mojo Monday (which I am SO behind on) but her Guest Challenge Sketches are even better!
With this card I used the Verve Visual stamp set Heart to Heart for the main image and sentiment. I also used some Bella Baubles (or Robin's Nest Dew Drops) for a simple embellishment over the sentiment 'Hugs and Kisses'.
This paper is so simple I thought it enhanced the overall look to the card plus the colors seem to work well together. Hope you enjoy and thank you for stopping by!

Did You Pajama?!
Last night the Pajama Party over at Paper Pretties was wonderful! All sorts of ladies joined in on the chatting fun while stamping away. Charmaine posted three challenges for all of us to play along with plus three new super cute stamp sets were released, to say the least I had a blast. The first challenge was to make a card using summer colors and summer as our inspiration so I did just that.
I used my Flutter By set (from PP) to be the main image giving Sophia a red gingham dress. Then I used some bright green as accents on the card with my nestabilities scalloped oval and the ribbon I used for the background. You may recall these supplies all before as well....they are from past Paper Pretties monthly boxes. I was going through my supplies last night and I have all sorts of goodies left over from past boxes so I issued myself a little challenge. I had to use supplies from past boxes, the only thing in all three cards that was not from one of the past boxes were the coloring supplies and Sophia's gingham dress in this card.
The second challenge was to create a card using glossy cardstock in some way so I used it for the background paper. I used a sponge for the background and then stamped the entire sheet over with circles from the Paper Pretties set Sassy Circles. Then to tie it together I stamped the Cuddle Me Sophia a little dress and mounted her on light pink paper. Finishing it off with matching light pink ribbon and the Need a Cuddle? sentiment.
The last challenge issued last night was to create a long card which I always love looking at but never seem to make. I pulled out the Paper Pretties stamp set Look Who's Perky and some wonderful pastel papers and embellishments from past boxes. If you have not stopped by to see the new releases at Paper Pretties make sure to drop by and check them all out!

Pajama Party Time!
Ladies! Thank you for all the lovely comments you sent my way both here and on SCS, you are the best! Now are we all ready to party tonight? I think its time to kick back, jump in our jammies and join in all the fun at the Paper Pretties Pajama Party. We have a new website and forum over at Paper Pretties so be sure to register so you can join us, we would love to have you. There will be three challenges hosted by Charmaine, three new Paper Pretties stamp sets released and plenty of stamping fun. In that mode, I thought I would share the February Bella Box card from Paper Pretties featuring Saycheeseabella! Isn't she cute?! Christie does a great job on these boxes, the supplies are top notch and so versatile.
I also created a card using the box supplies with my own spin. I love the floral paper from this kit, but I thought the striped paper worked betted with the color scheme.
I used my distresser on the edged and some of the same ribbon I used on the monthly card to bring out the rust color backing. The colors in this paper are so calming, I love them! Hope to see you all tonight, its almost time to party!

Sophia Flies
Guess what! I have some big news! But first...its card time! I just had to pull out my Sophia stamp from PaperPretties, she really needed some air. I love the line of PaperPretties Stamps, especially these adorable little Sophia stamps, she is one of the cutest stamp lines out there. So this card features last months Sophia release, make sure to stop by the Paper Pretties forum on Friday night for the Pajama Party and the next stamp release, it promises to be a blast and I can actually attend this one!
Now for the big news…Christie has invited me to be a guest designer for Paper Pretties for the next few months! Woo-Hoo! I will be joining all of the wonderful Paper Pretties Ladies and I am thrilled and honored to say the least. My first thought was that it was a delayed April Fool’s joke, but Christie assured me it was not, it is April after all. So this card is the first of many to come I hope that you will stop by and see what I whip up for you to feast your eyes upon. Enjoy ladies!

Birthday Blue
One of my close friends at work is having a birthday tomorrow and I realized I had yet to use any of my new PaperTrey stamps. I decided to pull out my Its A Celebration set and get stamping. Now, she is one of the people who helped me pick my cards for the Gina K. swap, so I wanted to do something nice for her, but something different then what I have already shown her. Her favorite color is blue, so I used a few different shades and some liquid applique to add some more dimension. She also loved the embossed paper I showed her on another card I had created, hopefully she likes my take on her birthday card! Enjoy Ladies!
Gina K Come Out and Play!
I am having so much fun with some of the Gina K. stamps sets I picked up recently. I joined the swap being hosted on SCS for the new releases (from March) and took two spots. I wanted to make some wonderful cards with these stamps, I mean Gina K. Stamps just scream to be put to good use, so I went for two different looks. While I can not post images of the cards that I am sending in for the swap I can post my reject card. Okay, now your wondering why I say my reject card, right? Well, since this group of swappers is totally awsome I wanted to create some really nice cards for these wonderful ladies so I decided to make a run through card and then a final edition. Typically when it comes to swaps the first card I create is the card I use, sort of an inspirational thing I guess, but in this case I thought a little more effort was worth it. I created a model card using the Spring Blooms set and two different options for the Framed Flowers set, after some thought I revised the Spring Blooms and picked one of the two options for the Framed Flowers.
Since I am not sending this card in I figured I would share it with you, keep in mind that this is my 'reject' card option...lol...I showed both cards I created to my parents and a few ladies from work, everyone, even my boyfriend picked the same card. I mean how could I pick this one over that sort of responce? Once I am allowed to I will post my swap creations, until then I hope this card can hold you over. The main image is from the Gina K. Stamps set Framed Flowers, all the paper is PaperTrey Prefect Match, and the ribbon is May Arts Grosgrain. Enjoy ladies!

MFT Box Cards!
I created the February sample from the instructions Christie sends along with all your supplies and my own spin on the contents. The card above is the sample of the month, complete with adorable little card charms and thick red ribbon. Isn't this card lovely? I love how the papers come together, I even used my SU! markers for this one, it was a little odd to not use my Copics, but I had to give these guys a shot once in a while.
The second card is a simple square cad using the same supplies but in a different way. I love this set from My Favorite Things, "Ride Um' Cowgirl" was the mini set from March, isn't it cute! I haven't been posting cards, but that doesn't mean I haven't been creating. I joined the Gina K. Stamps swap that was posted in the Company forums over on SCS. I took two spots and have been spending my time getting these cards ready, they are almost all done! When everyone receives their cards I can post them and trust me you are going to love them! Hope to post again soon!

PaperPretties Boxes!
Today I received my PaperPretties February boxes! I am a subscriber to both the My Favorite Things Package as well as the Stamping Bella package and I love getting all these goodies in the mail.
Whenever I get one of these packages I post a picture of all box contents, the card sample of the month and my own creation. I didn't get a chance between work (Architecture) and work (Library) to make any samples, but I plan on creating with these stamps when I get a chance.
Both boxes have a lot of fun goodies to play with and Christie does a wonderful job coordinating everything for us. Although these goodies look oh so tempting, I will be creating a card for Mojo Monday that Julee hosts first. I have Hanna stamped and ready to go at home, so come back soon, I hope to complete this weeks sketch challenge soon!
