PRIMAS!

You must recall me mentioning that Jody was hosting a Prima share on her blog and I jumped at the chance to join in on the fun. Well, these wonderful flowers arrived on Saturday but I have been to busy to get everything out and take a picture of all the goodies. Your wait is now over....here are the pictures! The first picture is of all the prima containers in the big USPS box the second is all of the prima containers set up all nice. Look at all those primas, I honestly have NO idea what I am going to do with so many, bu they really are worth the cost I think. It was $135 for everything, including paypal fees and shipping. I mean how can I walk away from that? LOL

A*Muse Getting Punchy

Well...I finally made one card for the fourth challenge it took me all week but it is done! The card is okay, but nothing wonderful. I don't have a large selection of punches, but I do have several that layer nicely. So I used my new Scalloped Giga Oval and a Mega Oval punch they are lovely. I also ordered the Scalloped Giga Circle and matching Mega Circle from Joanns that I intend to make many, many cards with! Enjoy the birthday card, simple and fun. I love this paper, I found it at A.C. Moore and I just had to purchase a few fun sheets!

Paper Pretties is Here!

I love the day when these boxes arrive...I get all excited when I know it has been shipped out and I search the mail box every day hoping to see that thin square box sitting on my door step. Yesterday it arrived! The wonderful white box arrived! As soon as I got inside I got the scissors and ripped that baby open! What I found was wonderful as always...black paper, white paper, Stella Ruby paper from Basic Grey (Yummy!), primas to match, red brads, plenty of ribbon, instruction sheet, envies...and Bella!

Yes, Diplomabella is in the house! She came a little late for my own graduation, but just in time for me to make thank you cards for gifts I received and with plenty of time until my sisters graduation. Now Christie's designed card was for a tall card and it is super cute, but I didn't want my first card to be a duplicate of someone else's so I went for the fun folded card I've seen on SCS. It turned out wonderfully! Its not dried yet, I completed my card at around 1am but I added the red stickles about an hour ago. I will post the card closed either tonight or tomorrow morning. Now....off to stamp for the A*Muse challenge this week!

Shane's Birthday Request

There are only 9 days left til Shane's birthday. If you have not heard about Shane I suggest visiting his website Shane's Wish. Shane is a seven year old boy who suffers from acute lymphoblastic leukemia and who has not asked for toys or money for his cause, he has asked for birthday cards. He would like to hold the world record for the most birthday cards ever received. His goal is to receive 350 million cards, but so far that goal has not been reached. His birthday is fast approaching so if you can please send a card his way, I know it will make him happier for it. *His Birthday is May 30th so get stamping!

My first A Muse Cards!

I honestly have been looking at these A Muse sets at my craft store and I finally bought myself one last weekend. So tonight I broke out that set and had to stamp! The stamps are just so cute! I made two entries for the 3rd Challenge for A-Muse-A-Palooza, it was a sketch challenge and I love how these cards came out. The set is called "Animal Wishes" and comes with all sorts of cute little animal stamps and sentiments that match the images. I think this may lead me to get some more A Muse stamps....I mean look how cute they are! Plus I had no animal stamps, so I don't feel so bad about buying them! There is also this cute Cow stamp that I think will be my next card, but only after I come up with something to make!

Do you see it? I have received my Giga Oval Scalloped punch and my Mega Oval punch! I love, love, love them. I ordered them from Cindy over at My Inky Fingers, she was wonderful with the orders! I also received stickles and Basic Grey Collection Packs as well. I have yet to use either but I am sure I can find something to do with them :)

Graduation Day!

Well today I woke up bright and early today to get to my Graduation at 7:30am. The ceremony lasted 5 hours with all of the degrees being given out and I had a wonderful time getting to see all of the people I have been going to school with for the last 5 years. The color was purple, yes that's right, purple. It was my tassel, my stole and the roses my family gave me. For those of you who have made it through College Graduation I congratulate you. For me I have the rest of the day off to relax! Have a wonderful day everyone!

The image is of myself and my family. My younger brother, my Mom, Dad and younger sister. Sorry the picture is so bright, it was super sunny!

Goodies!

Well, yesterday I received my Wish RAK Secret Friendship package. WOW...Thank you Secret Friend! My package is amazing...primas, Basic Grey paper and fibers, DP paper, ribbon, jumbo paper clips....goodies galore! So the image next to this is all my goodies...you know you want them don't you...LOL

Oh! Have I told you? Jody Marrow is hosting another wonderful Prima share! Do you recall the last Prima share I joined of hers? I still have many Primas left, but I had to get myself a spot in her newest share. Included this time are the Bra and Panty sets, Prima Sprites, and Prima Essentials Two. I would suggest stopping by Confessions of a Ribbon Addict and taking a spot, or half spot in these shares. She will be taking orders until May 15th.

I have not yet decided what to offer as blog candy, but I am working on it. So far I am thinking Bella images and some Primas....stay tuned!
