Artful INKables Creation!

Well I can't believe that another week has come and gone already, but Saturday is here once more which means that it is time for me to share another Artful INKables creation with you! But before I tell you all about my card for today...do you know what tomorrow, the 15th of November is? It's the November release from Artful INKables! That's right, make sure to stop by here tomorrow to see me preview one of the stamp sets to be releases! This month we are releasing FOUR stamp sets and you are going to love them all!

For my card today I wanted to use this pretty birdie image from our last release, A Bird's Song. The two birds in this set are just so stunning and whimsical I really love their simple elegance. I decided that this bird would be perfect as a Blue Jay, so here he is! I have no idea why I seem to think of this bird as a male and the other image as a female, but there you have it! I do hope you enjoy my card for today
Stamps: A Bird's Song from Artful INKables; Paper: Whisper White, Enchanted Evening, PTI In Bloom, Spring Rain; Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, B12 Ice Blue, B14 Light Blue, E57 Light Walnut, N1 Neutral Grey No. 1, Y02 Canary Yellow; Accessories: Pop Dots, Scalloped Edge Scissors, White Ribbon

On the Farm with AI!

Good morning all! While you are reading this I am not home, that's right I am at Stamping Around Philly! I can't wait for the trip, I know I will have a blast and learn to make all sorts of fun things. For today's post I am sharing with you my creation for the current Artful INKables Think INK Challenge! The current challenge is being hosted by Sherry Campbell to create either a 3D item you have never tried before or try a new technique! So for my project I decided to try a 3D item I have not made yet, a Match Book Candy Holder! I keep seeing these adorable things, but this is the first one I have made and I am liking the results. I decided to use one of the newest stamps from Artful INKables for this creation, Down on the Farm! I picked this adorable goat who is just ready for anything that may come his way! I also used one of the wonderful sentiments that comes with this stamp set 'Kick up your Heels and Celebrate!'. I really think this is a great, fun, and simple project. In fact this may become one of my possibilities for Christmas goodies! I think this would make a super cute stocking stuffer...oh swaps here I come! Have a great day all, I hope you enjoyed what I shared today!
Stamps: Down on the Farm from Artful INKables; Paper: Kraft, Whisper White, Soft Suede; Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, E31 Brick Beige, G24 Willow, N1 Neutral Grey No. 1, R11 Pale Cherry Pink; Accessories: Crop a Dile, Sticky Strip, Copper Brads

Friends With Flair!

I finally, yes I mean finally inked up a Unity stamp this week! Woot! My collection of Unity Stamps keep multiplying, but I never seem to get the chance to use them! I keep making cards for specific people and telling myself I will have time later for a Unity card. Well this weekend I made the time and created a card using this adorable tree image called Carefree Moments Oak! A friend of mine Audrey was hosting a Tree, Leaf, or Shrub swap on SCS and I wanted to play along, so this is not only a 'Friends with Flair' creation but also a swap card! Woot!

For my card I wanted to make something simple in Kraft and Green and I think what I created did just that. I also really like this back ground paper, it is perfect for a tree card! Well I hope you like my creation for today! Have a great day and enjoy the rest of today's 'Friends with Flair' Unity posts!
Stamps: Carefree Moments Oak from Unity; Paper: Whisper White, Kraft; Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, E31 Brick Beige, E57 Light Walnut; Accessories: Kaiser Self Adhesive Rhinestone

Bubble and Boil!

On Saturday I shared with you a Halloween card I created for one of my co-workers, here is the other card I made for her. I looked through all my DP, but I couldn't find and Halloween themed paper that was only White, Black and Orange, so...I made my own! That's right, I don't know if you have seen it before but the craft store sells webbing in different colors that can be bought, and I have several colors I just never use and of it! So, for this one I took a piece of black cardstock and sprayed it with some webbing to create this great effect. I also wanted to use this great set from Taylored Expressionsded stickles to the bubbles so they shine! Hope you like my creation for today, I had a lot of fun with this!
Stamps: Spooky Expressions from Taylored Expressions. Paper: Whisper White, Basic Black, Only Orange; Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, G21 Lime Green, N3 Neutral Grey No. 3, YR04 Chrome Orange; Accessories: Frosted Lace Stickles, Halloween Ribbon, Webbing, Pop Dots, Kaiser Self Adhesive Rhinestones

Pretties Peak and Release Day!

Today is the last day in the Pretties Peaks this month! Each Prettie has been sharing with you their 'Favorite Things' based on the lyrics from 'A Few of My Favorite Things'! My lyric for today is "silver white winters" PLUS I am sharing with you a Peak of Always in My Heart, our newest Sophia stamp set! Before I tell you a bit more about my card, here are all he details for you about our Pretties Peaks this month!

Welcome to our Prettie Peeks for Paper Pretties November Release! This month we thought we'd have some fun and give you a chance to win the new releases. Since our Pretties are some our favorite things, our peeks will be based on the lyrics to 'A Few Of My Favorite Things'. Each day two of the Pretties Girl's will upload their challenge cards based on a new lyric. If you stop by the Pretties Gallery and leave that Prettie Girl a comment on what your 'FAVORITE THING' about her card is, you'll have a chance to win the new set that has been used in that challenge - make sense?

The contest will end November 2nd and the winners will be posted on the Paper Clip. You can find the link to the specific cards in the Paper Pretties Gallery on each blog post. So, lets get started! Today there are three Preties Girl's sharing with you their 'Favorite Things' so make sure you stop by Jules', Frances', and Jackie's (you are here!) blogs and leave a comment in the gallery for them all for your chance to win!

Don't forget to stop on by the party in the
Paper Pretties forum on November 1st at 8pm EST when all the stamps will be released for sale.

For my card today since my lyric was "silver white winters" I decided that my card needed to use white and silver as it's main focus. I also wanted to create a clean card, so I pulled out this silver metallic paper and some wonderful white satin ribbon. I hope you like my take on this lyrical line.

Now it's your time to stop by the Forum and leave a comment to what your 'favorite thing' is about my card today! So click HERE to check out my card again and comment away for your chance to win this stamp set for yourself.

I am so excited about this release, and I can't wait to see what your 'favorite things' will be for all the cards we peaked for this release! I do hope you get the chance to join us in the Pretties Forum this evening for a great Pajama Party! Be sure to stop by the Forum for all the fun tonight at 8PM EST! Hope to see you there, and have a great day!

Chichiboulie Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Chichiboulie Blog Hop sponsored by Stamping Bella! If you've just happened upon my blog, you can CLICK HERE to start from the beginning at Bloggabella.

For my card today for the Hop I decided to use the adorable Cuppycake with a Huggabugg on top, I ordered this stamp when she was first released, but I forgot all about this cutie until I was digging around and deciding which stamp to use! Then I remembered the DP from one of the DCWV Baby Girl pack and thought it would be perfect for this image, isn't this paper just perfect for this image! I had a lot of fun with this card, hope you like it too!

How about a prize? In addition to the fabulous eye candy, we have decided to hide a prize somewhere along the hop! One pre-selected blogger will draw a random winner from the comments on her post, and the winner will receive a $25 Gift Voucher to Stamping Bella!!! The fun part is...we're not telling you who it is! So as you hop, make sure you leave comments on every post so you have a chance to win!! We will announce the winner on Monday in the Splitcoast forum. MWAH!

Halloween Happy Birthday!

Today is Saturday which means that I get to share with you another Artful INKables creation! One of the ladies at work has a friend whose Birthday is on Halloween, so at work this week she asked me to make her two Halloween themed Birthday cards that she could give to her friend. I must say I had no idea where to start with this one, but after chatting with her for a bit, she wanted a Orange and Black card with an older feel, but to still be birthday at the same time. I decided that the Artful INKables set Halloween Hauntings would be perfect! When I took the set out again I gravitated towards the house as a main image, I thought it looked aged and matched this paper wonderfully at the same time! The background paper is all glittery, which is I love, plus the ribbon across the bottom of the card is glittery as well! I do how you like the finished project, not your typical birthday card, but I think it works. Have a great day all, thanks for stopping by!
Stamps: Halloween Hauntings from Artful INKables; Paper: Whisper White, Going Grey, DCWV Hauntings DP; Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black; Accessories: Ribbon, Kaiser Pewter Self Adhesive Pearls, Pop Dots, SU Scalloped Oval Punch, SU Large Oval Punch

Welcome to the Artful INKables blog hop! I hope you enjoy the party! Some of the Design Team members are taking part in what we are calling a Winter Blog Hop for Artful INKables! Make sure to comment on everyone's blog as you take part in the Winter Blog Hop, because one lucky commenter somewhere along the way will find some hidden candy! For you chance to be entered into the blog candy draw you have until midnight Sunday, November 1st to comment!

Today I'm showing you a card made with the 'retro' stamp set Snow Play! I am loving this adorable winter stamp set, there are some fun images, plus amazing sentiments! I used the little girl image as my main focus and the 'Let it Snow' sentiment! Since it was snow I had to add some snowflakes, so I pulled out my Cuttlebug and got to work, first with the Nestabilities and then with my Snowflakes embossing folder. I hope you enjoy my card, this set has really been a lot of fun to use!
