Greeting Farm Fun!

Right now The Greeting Farm is having a Twelve Days of Sketches on their blog and I have been loving the idea. This past weekend I sat down and started working on these sketches and I am really loving how these are starting, plus some of those stamps that have been screaming for some ink are seeing some! For my first card I tried the 3rd Sketch and pulled out one of my new Twinkling Tots, this little Madelynn is totally adorable! I thought she would look pretty in greens and yellows and coloring her in was a lot of fun!

For my second sketch I used this adorable Miss Anya Love and went for all pinks on pink! I can not for the life of me find my oval nestabilities either, so I used this one instead and I think it still works. In fact not only are these card for the great Sketches that The Greeting Farm is hosting, but I am also using these cards for swaps I am in on SCS.
Stamps: Twinkling Tots Medelynn from The Greeting Farm; Paper: Whisper White, Certianly Celery, DCWV Citrus Stack; Ink: E00 Skin White, Y11 Pale Yellow, Y13, Y15, G24 Willow, YG03 Yellow Green, E31 Brick Beige; Accessories: Self Adhesive Rhinestone

I used some light blue and kraft paper to alter the notebook, then I added this fun DCWV DP that really brightens it all up. I then picked this cute little house to put on the cover to complete the look. I can't wait to see what the other ladies decided to create, check out the other Pretties Girl's creations:

A Pretties SALE!

Good morning all! I almost forgot to share with you the Sale going on at Paper Pretties! Here is all the information so you can take advantage of this great sale!

Merry Christmas to all of you! As a Christmas treat, we'll be giving away a free Around the Block Antiquing Tool to everyone who places an order between now and New Years Day. No coupon code, we'll add it to your order for you. Also, be sure to stop back on Boxing Day when our boxing week blowout begins. We'll have everything Christmas related - stamps, ribbon, paper - all on sale for 45% off! No coupon code needed. Sale will run until New Year's Day!
Here's a little bit of info about the antiquing tool for you:

This little tool gets a big thumbs up from me! It has a very ergonomic little handle that is very easy to hold and work with. One end of the tool is a little ink pad (brown in this case) and the other end is a little sanding disc. The ink pad end comes with a little plastic cover so that the ink doesn't dry out. This end works really nicely on the edges of cards stock before or after they are sanded as well as for "swiping" over card stock to give it an aged appearance.

The sanding edge works so nicely both on the edges of cards and to sand the surface of white core card stock or photos.

I hope you get the chance to take advantage of this great SALE! Have a great day all and thanks for stopping by!

Hunny Bunny!

I hope everyone had a Very Merry Christmas and enjoyed the time they had to spend with their family yesterday. I know we had a very relaxing up lovely holiday. We opened gifts, made breakfast together, watched It's a Wonderful Life, had Dinner followed by dessert, then all watched the new Night at the Museum Movie. Overall it was a quiet day at home with lots of wonderful family time. I do hope you also had a great holiday to remember! Since today is Saturday that means it's time for me to share with you a fun Artful INKables creation! I know that Christmas was only yesterday, but today I am sharing with you a cute little box I made for Valentine's Day!I used the sentiment stamps from Creature Comforts and an adorable Ghirardelli Box tutorial I found on SCS to make a super sweet Valentine's Day Treat! I love all sorts of chocolate and I have a baggie filled with these yummy wrapped squares of Ghirardelli Chocolate, so I thought what better thing to share today then some sweetness! I do hope you like my little box, it was a lot of fun to make! Have a wonderful Saturday, and be sure to rest from all your Christmas excitement.

This adorable Bunny was part of our last release and I only just realized that I had yet to share anything with him on it, so that had to be fixed! I made a nontraditional Valentine's Day card, but I love how it all worked out. I can't wait to see what the other ladies decided to create, check out the other Pretties Girl's creations:

Inky Embossed Glitter

Good morning all! Today I get to share with you the card I created for the new Inky Impressions Challenge which is to use Embossing AND Glitter or Flocking! Talk about all sorts of fun to be had! I don't know about you but I simply love embossing, but not so much glitter. I love the shine of glitter, its so pretty, but I hate the mess it makes! I know...I am a bit of a neat freak about some things.

Today the Inky Impressions Design Team will be sharing our creations for the current Inky Impressions Challenge! (I know, that includes me! Woot!) For my card today I used the Fairy Lili stamp, one of my favorite's from Inky Impressions, and added all sorts of glitter to her wings and skirt. Not sure what started the color combination for today's card, but I thought that she had to be a bright fairy, sort of spring like, so I went with bright greens and yellow. If you can't see the embossing, its a bit hard to notice, but the paper is embossed, loving this!

I hope you like my take on the current Inky Impressions Challenge, be sure to join in on all the fun over at the Inky Impressions Challenge Blog! I can’t wait to see what you create! Have a wonderful day all and hope you are all ready for the holidays! Stamps: Fairy Lili from Inky Impressions; Paper: Whisper White; Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, E00 Skin White, E57 Light Walnut, Y02 Canary Yellow, YG03 Yellow Green, YG06 Yellowish Green, YG11 Mignonette; Accessories: Frosted Lace Stickles, Large Scalloped and Regular Circle Nestabilities, Glue Dots, Green Satin Ribbon

That Krafty Santa!

I still can’t believe it is already December, I know I have said this before but my goodness, where has this year gone?! With the mark of a new month comes another My Favorite Things Guest Designer Challenge! This month the challenge was to create a card using Kraft as the focus, I love my Kraft paper but I just don’t use it often enough, in fact for the longest time I had no Kraft paper in my room, I know that I reached for it a few times and I was all out! I finally reordered some from PTI last month when I got some other goodies, so I was able to participate in the challenge! I decided to ink up my new Santa Baby stamp sets, this poor set has been sitting there wanting to see some some ink! As soon as I saw this set I knew I would love it, and I simply do! I love the playful feel of this image and all the matching sentiments and images that compliment it! I thought a holiday card would be totally awesome to make, since I haven’t really made many yet this year…but you will be seeing more of them, I have several people who have ordered Christmas and Holiday cards from me this year, so I need to kick it into high and get creating! Hope you enjoy my card for today, and be sure to stop by tomorrow too! Not only will I have my weekly Artful INKables creation, but the Stamping Bella Blog Hop will be coming through too! Have a wonderful day!

Unknown Blessings Peak and Release Day!

It's that time of the year again ladies! It's Prettie Peek time! I can not believe another month has come and gone, but alas it has...now on to the Peeks! Here is all the information for this month's release and peeks:

Welcome to our
Prettie Peeks for Paper Pretties December Release! We had so much fun last month using a well known song for our peeks that we thought we'd try it again, and since we love giving things away, we'll have the same rules for prizes as last month - leave a comment on a card from the new releases in the Paper Pretties Gallery and we'll pick names for you to win the new releases. This month, in keeping with Christmas we've chosen a well known Christmas carol - Winter Wonderland!

Each day three or possibly four of the
Pretties Girl's will upload their challenge cards based on a new lyric. If you stop by the Pretties Gallery and leave that Prettie Girl a comment on her card, you'll have a chance to win the new set that has been used in that challenge - make sense?

The contest will end
December 2nd and the winners will be posted on the Paper Clip. You can find the link to the specific cards in the Paper Pretties Gallery on each blog post. So, lets get started! Jules, Frances, Kristy, and Jackie (you are here!) are sharing with you their lyrical creations for today, so get on over there and make sure you stop by and leave a comment in the gallery for these Pretties for your chance to win!

Don't forget to stop on by the party in the Paper Pretties forum on December 1st at 8pm EST when all the stamps will be released for sale.

For today I am peeking our new stamp set Unknown Blessings! For today's Peak I had the lyrical line "As we dream by the fire", so I decided to use this pretty floral mailbox from this new set. I don't know about you, but when I am experiencing winter I think of the the spring, so this image I thought was perfect for this line! Of course any springy card needs to have bright colors, so I used pink, yellow and green! I really had a lot of fun with this one, I do hope you like this, this mail box set is just so pretty, and I am loving these roses that are growing up the mailbox!

Thank you so much for stopping by, be sure to check out the other's Girl's creations for today, and head back over to my blog on Tuesday, that is my next Peek for you! Hope to see you at the Release Party on the 1st, it is sure to be a blast! Have a great day!

Inky Impressions DT Call!

You know how I love to find new stamp companies, and I just love stamps! Well I have been following Inky Impressions for a bit now, actually since before Nicole launched the site and I have been loving what I've seen! The adorable stamps featuring Angelica, Lili, Nickie, and Rachel are just some of the cutest girls around, and right now Inky Impressions is having a Design Team call! I ordered some of the winter stamp sets from their new release at the beginning of the month (okay so I ordered a bunch of stamps, there were too many to pick from!) and the challenge for the Design Team call was to create an ornament using their stamps! I haven't made an ornament in ages, so this was certainly a challenge, but I had a lot of fun with this! I hope you like what I created! For all the details on the Design Team Call, just check out the Inky Impressions Challenge Blog! For my ornament I used this cute stamp from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps (Sorry! My Inky Impressions Stamps have not arrived yet, but they are in the mail!). Since this was to be an ornament I went for the winter look, complete with shades of light and darker blues and lost so snowflakes and glitter! I love the shine Stickles give to things, plus this snowflake punch I got from the store about two weeks ago is just perfect for a winter ornament. I had a lot of fun with this, and look at that shine! Too much fun!Be sure to check out all the great ornaments submitted, you are sure to love them like I do! Have a great day and thanks for taking the time to look at my creation for today!

Tag Your a Birdie!

Today marks another weekend so it is time for me to share another Artful INKables creation with you! I made a tag for the current Artful INKables Think INK challenge! For this challenge Crystal Irwin is hosting and she has issued a challenge to create a tag. Head on over to the Artful INKables Blog for all the little details and be sure to play along, it was so much fun to create a tag! It seems like I haven't made a tag in ages! So I pulled out my super cute Birdie set called A Bird's Song, I really think this set is just so pretty and elegant, and I am always worried that I won't do a set justice, this set does that to me. For this tag I used this adorable robin and added a bit of shine to it, unfortunately it is really hard to photograph nicely, but I hope you like this tag, I think its sort of pretty. Have a great day all! Thanks for stopping by! Stamps: A Bird's Song from Artful INKables; Paper: Very Vanilla, Candy Cane DP, Dark Chocolate; Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, E33 Sand, E57 Light Walnut, Y13 Lemon Yellow; Accessories: Red Grosgrain Ribbon, Gold Nail Heads, Smooch Moonlight

Artful INKables Twilight Hop!

Welcome to our Customer and Design Team Twilight Artful INKables blog hop! Make sure you start at the Artful INKables Blog, so you don't miss a single thing! To celebrate the release of NEW MOON today, we're highlighting the Artful INKables Twilight inspired sets: Into the Moonlight and Fictionally Inspired. Artful INKables also has a set of Vampire Romance Themed Charms available! Plus, in additon to our wonderful Blog Hop, Artful INKables is also sponsoring Twilight Tuesday’s Hop that includes some Twilight Prizes, so be sure to check them out today as well!

For my card today I used both the Into the Moonight and the Fictionally Inspired stamp sets from
Artful INKables! I decided that I would make a Twilight Gift Set in celebration of the New Moon release! So for my Artful INKables Blog Hop post I created an altered notebook that follows the Twilight Color Combination of Red, White and Black! I wanted to add a bit of shine so I added not only someone wonderful Satin ribbon, but also some great silver nail heads in the corners of my images.Do you love this sentiment?! I think it is just a fabulous one, 'Look after my heart, I've left it with you', it just seemed so fitting for a bit of the plot line in the New Moon movie! Plus, the pad inside is all black and white too, I found it in the dollar bin at Micheal's and thought I just had to get it and possibly use it for today's hop!
It's a little hard to see, but this altered pad has a few layers and pops, I cut out the Werewolf and popped him up from the layers, then the mat for him is also popped up. I really like the way it all came together on this, it's simple, but clean too.

The next stop on the hop is Holly Endress! I can't wait to see what Holly has created to share for this hop, I know it will be wonderful!

In case you get lost along the way, here’s the order of the hop, trust me you don't want to miss one stop on this Hop!

Make sure to leave a comment on each stop on the hop for the chance to win your choice of two Artful INKables stamp sets! You have until Midnight, November 23rd to comment and be entered to win some fabulous stamp sets! I hope you enjoy the rest of the Hop today and of course the New Mood movie! Have a great weekend all!
Stamps: Into the Moonlight and Fictionaly Inspired from Artful INKables; Paper: Whisper White, Pure Poppy, Basic Black; Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, B14 Light Blue, E35 Chamois, E37 Sepia; Accessories: Pop Dots, Notebook, Silver Nail Heads, Black Satin Ribbon

Twilight Tuesday New Moon Blog Hop!

Good morning all! Today is the release day for New Moon, the newest film in the Twilight Saga! To celebrate the new release, Twilight Tuesday is hosting a Twilight Inspired Blog Hop! So for today's post I created a card to match the pad I made and posted earlier! For my card I used the typical Twilight color combination of Red, White, and Black, with a bit of shine to add to it all. I used my Artful INKables stamp sets Into the Moonlight and Fictionally Inspired to create this fun Werewolf card! I do hope you like it, together the pad and matching card make a super cute Twilight Gift Set! Oh, what do you think of the sentiment? I think it is so much fun, and let me say that if Jacob is the 'Big Bad Wolf' I am not afraid, are you?!

Now it's time to hop along! The next place on the hop is at Joni's Blog, so get on over there and see what she has to share! Here is the full list in case you get lost along the way!
