Simply Betty Stamps Challenge!

Good evening! I am sharing today a duo of cards I made today as part of Zombie Day at the Simply Betty Stamps FB Group! Simply Betty Stamps once in a while SPOILS the SBS FB Group with Freebies and challenges! Now, this was not part of their monthly challenge or the 100 Days of Halloween that is currently going on...these challenges were different. Basically you signed up to receive a freebie and you MUST color in the image and MUST use the image within a specific time period. Today's challenge was only a few hours window, and once you complete one correctly you can sign up for the next freebie a few hours later! Woo hoo! So much fun!
So for the first challenge I colored in Worms For Brains, a fitting name I think. Once colored and uploaded to the SBS FB Group I was eligible for the third freebie (I missed the first one since I didn't know it was going on). I had a blast working with both of these Freebie images! The second freebie is called Headless Christian, again a very befitting name.
These images will not be released, they are simply a fun freebie in celebration of the season beginning on the Walking Dead tonight. I hope these images make you check out Simply Betty Stamps their fabulous Simply Betty Stamps FB Group

Thank you so much for checking out my creation today, I had so much fun with this challenge and I love how this creation came out! I hope you have a great day!

The Riley and Company Design Team are celebrating the new stamp release by bringing you .....

Inspiration Week with the Design Team

...all week the Design Team will be sharing creations they have made using the new stamps!

There are 42 Funny Bones stamps; 11 Inspiration stamps and 4 brand new images for a new character called Burt (he's a cat!) ... which is just so much fun! These stamps are available to purchase on the Riley and Company website now!
For my Day #4 creations today I am sharing another Duo of sentiments from the Funny Bones stamp line! This time, they both feature Halloween and Christmas, for a bit of Spooky and Merry Funny Bones! My first card just makes me picture someone sneaking up on someone whenever possible around Halloween. I always feel bad scaring someone, but I know that there are a lot of people the embrace the mischievous side of Halloween.
My second card featured 'Naughty or Nice', classic Christmas reference and I just love it! I used some festive holiday lights designer series paper to give it a bit of holiday cheer. I can see this making a great holiday card for a close friend, sure to make someone smile!

Riley and Company Release Preview - Day #3

The Riley and Company Design Team are celebrating the new stamp release by bringing you .....

Inspiration Week with the Design Team

...all week the Design Team will be sharing creations they have made using the new stamps!

There are 42 Funny Bones stamps; 11 Inspiration stamps and 4 brand new images for a new character called Burt (he's a cat!) ... which is just so much fun! These stamps are available to purchase on the Riley and Company website now!
For my Day #3 creations I decided to showcase two different sentiments! That's right, double the fun! My first card features a sentiment from the Funny Bones line, it just makes me smile. It reads 'Life is Better When You're Laughing' which is so true! I thought it would be perfect to pair with this fabulous cloud paper from my stash!
My second card today is all about 'Strength', and if you read the Funny Bone above and you can do this, you are far stronger than I. Once I open that candy bar only taking one square is just so hard to do! I went with a chocolate brown card base, to bring the Funny Bone message home.

Thank you for stopping by and checking out my blog today, be sure to come back again soon to see what I share next! Plus stop by the Riley and Company Blog to see some more sneak peeks!

For my creation today I just had to share this fun Witchy Funny Bones Stamp. I love the font change in the middle of the sentiment, it adds a nice accent on the line when you read it - perfect! I pulled out some spooky paper from one of the many Halloween DSP pads I have and I think it turned out nicely. I can't wait to share more of this release with you!

Riley and Company Challenge - Beach/Fun in the Sun!

Today we are kicking off a new challenge at Riley and Company! Every other week we share a creation for our challenges and it's always a blast! This week I am actually hosting our Riley and Company Challenge which is to create a card with 'Beach/Fun in the Sun'!

For my card I decided to use one my older favorite stamps, Hula Sophie. Hula always reminds me of the Beach and people having fun in the sun. The grass skirt is always fun to watch, in fact years ago I had a hula skirt myself, it was part of one of my birthday parties when I was younger. I am an August birthday gal so my parties were usually at a pool or outdoor fun in the sun, hula included! Of course I had a Luau one year, and it was a blast! I found this great wave designer series paper in my supplies and just had to pair this stamp and paper together!

Thank you for stopping by and checking out our new challenge, be sure to come back again soon to see what I create next. Also, stop by the Riley and Company Blog to play along as well!

Riley and Company Challenge - Orange and Purple!

Today we are kicking off a new challenge at Riley and Company! Every other week we share a creation for our challenges and it's always a blast! This week Heather is hosting our Riley and Company Challenge which is to create a card with 'Orange and Purple'!

For my card I decided to use a stamp that always makes me smile, Showgirl Sophie . I have had this stamp in my collection since the Vacation Riley line came out and I am so glad that this stamp is finally seeing some ink! When I ordered this stamp my plan was to create a scrapbook page layout for my Girls Trip to Las Vegas, needless to say the page has yet to be created, but inking up this stamp is a step in the right direction. I think this Showgirl Sophie really pops in these colors, in fact this pairing may be too tame for a showgirl, I don't really know. I love the touch of bling to finish her off as well.

Thank you for stopping by and checking out our new challenge, be sure to come back again soon to see what I create next. Also, stop by the Riley and Company Blog to play along as well!

Riley and Company Challenge - Clean and Simple Summer!

Today we are kicking off a new challenge at Riley and Company! Every other week we share a creation for our challenges and it's always a blast! This week Kendra is hosting our Riley and Company Challenge which is to create a card with 'Clean and Simple Summer'!

For my card I decided to use one my older favorite stamps, Campfire Riley! While I haven't been camping in a few years I used to go every summer and one of the best parts of summer was being outdoors and enjoying that time with friends and family. When I started going through my Riley stamps the Campfire Riley just screamed out to me to be used for this challenge. I love how he came together! This darling grass dsp that I found in my stash was the perfect match to this stamp too, isn't it wonderful when a card just comes together!

Thank you for stopping by and checking out our new challenge, be sure to come back again soon to see what I create next. Also, stop by the Riley and Company Blog to play along as well!

Riley and Company Challenge - Kraft!

Today we are kicking off a new challenge at Riley and Company! Every other week we share a creation for our challenges and it's always a blast! This week Joy is hosting our Riley and Company Challenge which is to create a card with 'Kraft'!

For my card I decided to use one of the Retro Folks - Mister Coffee stamp. When I thought 'Kraft' coffee instantly came to mind and I just had to pull out Mister Coffee for this challenge. I wanted a pop of color so I used this bright green to offset the Kraft color, I think it works well together. I also added a bit of Kraft colored Lace for a step up on this card.

Thank you for stopping by and checking out our new challenge, be sure to come back again soon to see what I create next. Also, stop by the Riley and Company Blog to play along as well!

Riley and Company Challenge - Graduation!

Today we are kicking off a new challenge at Riley and Company! Every other week we share a creation for our challenges and it's always a blast! This week Frances is hosting our Riley and Company Challenge which is to create a card with 'Graduation'!

For my card I decided to use one my older favorite stamps, Artist Riley and pair it with the fun Funny Bone - The World is Your Canvas stamp. There are so many stamps to pick from it is a task in itself to decide which stamp to use each challenge. I thought this Funny Bone really hits home to a Graduate and would be perfect to inspire them to reach for their dreams!

Thank you for stopping by and checking out our new challenge, be sure to come back again soon to see what I create next. Also, stop by the Riley and Company Blog to play along as well!

Today we are kicking off a new challenge at Riley and Company! Every other week we share a creation for our challenges and it's always a blast! This week Frances is hosting our Riley and Company Challenge which is to create a card with 'More than One Fold'!
For my card I decided to use one my older favorite stamps, Route 66 Riley! There are so many stamps to pick from it is a task in itself to decide which stamp to use each challenge. I thought this darling Route 66 Riley would be perfect for a traveling card or in this case a card with two folds. I love the added touch changing your card up with additional folds. It is so much fun to pull out a technique you haven't played with in ages. I also used a mute color tone with pops of pink for some 'spring'.
