Baseball Birthday

Thursday was my brothers 16th birthday and he is all about baseball so I decided to pull out my cute Changito baseball stamp and create a fun card for his birthday. I wanted to go with a car theme, but all my car stamps have girls driving them not guys! I used some scraps around my room for this card and a Gina K. 'Happy Birthday' sentiment from the Tickle Your Funny Bone set and I think it turned out nicely. He seemed to like it, of course he liked the movie money more then the card I am sure, but it was nice to give him a card that has something to do with his sport. Cupcakes!

Next on the list is creating a few cards with the new Stampendous Cupcake set,it is just so cute! I had a hard time getting started with this stamp set, and I don't know why but I think the card I created worked out nicely. I used Cameo Coral and some fun decorative paper I received as a gift. I created two of these cards since I have a lot of birthdays coming up that need cards. I plan on continuing the brithday card creation by using some of the new PaperTrey Ink stamps, inks, and papers released recently. I also want to try this stamp set out again, I think I can do better then what I created today, but time will tell. I hope you stop by soon to see more creations!

So all sorts of stamp companies are releasing new stamp sets and I am thrilled! I will be at the party tomorrow on SCS for Gina K., I need to order my Hanna Stamps, today is the release day for the new C.C. Designs stamps that look oh too cute.....oh the choices! If you have not noticed yet, I jump around from stamp company to stamp company, I like choices to be honest. If I like the stamp design I am there regardless of mounted, unmounted, distance, shipping....stamps are stamps and if I want them I get them!

So....with that being said I created a card using the scrap piece from the oval I made to back the last card I posted. I like the colors I used and the background paper together so I decided to incorporate it into the card. This time I used a Stampendous image from the Fluffles collection....too cute! I don't know if you can see it, but I used my glitter pens from Copis....love them!Oh....and if you haven't seen it yet RUN on over the Jody's site Confessions of a Ribbon Addict and check out her newest ribbon share. Her shares are to die for and I of course a going to die at the sight of the new ribbons from May Arts that are being offered. Friday Fluffles!

I would love to share my very first Fluffles card! Today is Friday and I can't wait for the weekend, of course I will be doing my studio final but I still love the weekend. I have recently joined the Wish RAK group on SCS and I love it. I requested some Fluffles images and today some showed up for me. So I broke out those images and started making...here is what came out. I used one of the Prima flowers I won in blog candy and the paper is my newest Basic Grey paper Scarlet Letter. Do you have these papers yet? They are lovely, if you haven't seen them I would suggest looking around for them. I don't own any scalloped punches yet but someone sent me a few and I wanted one in another color so I traced the one scalloped square I have and cut it out. It seemed to turn out okay.

Oh! Have you seen the counter on the side? I am over 800 views! YAY! If/when that counter reaches 1000 views some more blog candy will be popping up...in case you were wondering.
