Crafty Sentiments Designs Challenge - Use Die Cuts!

Today kicks off a brand new challenge at the Crafty Sentiments Designs Challenge! This week Audrey is hosting the challenge for Team "A", and her challenge for today is...'Use Die Cuts'!

I had so much fun with this week's challenge! I know that I could easily use any Crafty Sentiments Designs images for this challenge, but I finally decided on Innocence! I colored in this darling image in light shades of pink with touches of a deeper pink. Then for my die cuts I cut and matted the Innocence stamp as well as this rosette I have in my stash also made from a die cut. I love the bright pink with light pink details.

I do hope you enjoyed my creation for today, be sure to head on over to the Crafty Sentiments Designs Blog and check out the rest of the fabulous DT samples and of course to enter in on the fun! Have a fabulous day and thank you for stopping by.

Here is the project I created for today's hop:
For my creation today I used the fabulous new image My Heart Cake! I simply love coloring images from Crafty Sentiments Designs, and these cuties are no exception! I think our stamps keep getting better and better!

Today I went with the traditional pink card, but I didn't use just any shade of pink, I used HOT pink! I wanted this darling image to really pop off the card and grab your attention. I used almost tone on tone for the card layers so that stark contrast of the white around the My Heart Cake stamp would be more noticeable. I also added little touches of Candy Dots to finish off the layering and corners of my finished card.
Now how about some blog hop prizes??

Here is the project I created for today's hop:

For my creation today I used the fabulous new image Hanging Hearts! I simply love coloring images from Crafty Sentiments Designs, and these cuties are no exception! I think our stamps keep getting better and better!

For Valentine's Day or 'Love' creations you usually see lots of pinks and reds, but for today's card I thought I would change it up and I instead used these lovely shades of coral. I accented her dress and shoes in corals and added some pink to her socks and apron. I think these tones all worked well together. Then to make the stamp stand out I used some dies to cut our darling Hanging Hearts into a circle with some scalloped corals behind. I finished it off with this yummy ribbon make the whole card pop! I do hope you like what I had to share with you today!
Now how about some blog hop prizes??

Riley and Company Challenge - Be Thankful!

Today we are kicking off a new challenge at Riley and Company! Every other week we share a creation for our challenges and it's always a blast! This week Heather is hosting our Riley and Company Challenge which is to create a 'Be Thankful (veteran's/Remembrance Day, thanksgiving, friendship, etc.)'!

For my card I decided to use one of the fabulous Moosehatter! When I think about a reason to be Thankful or who I would send a card to for this theme I think of all the fabulous friends and family members I have that should have a glass raised to them. When I started going through my images this one popped out, and our Moosehatter is raising a cup of tea. I also went with reds, oranges, and yellow shades which are all perfect for Thanksgiving as well.

Thank you for stopping by and checking out our new challenge, be sure to come back again soon to see what I create next. Also, stop by the Riley and Company Blog to play along as well!

Crafty Sentiments Designs Challenge - Anything Goes!

Today kicks off a brand new challenge at the Crafty Sentiments Designs Challenge! This week Audrey is hosting the challenge for Team "A", and her challenge for today is...'Anything Goes'!

I had so much fun with this week's challenge! I know that I could easily use any Crafty Sentiments Designs images for this challenge, but I finally decided on Skip Skip! I wanted to create a card that felt like this care free little girl enjoying her jump rope! I stuck with shades of teal and little touches of pink for accents. I think this card turned out better than expected and I love the overall look to this one. A fun a happy card, one to hopefully make you smile!

I do hope you enjoyed my creation for today, be sure to head on over to the Crafty Sentiments Designs Blog and check out the rest of the fabulous DT samples and of course to enter in on the fun! Have a fabulous day and thank you for stopping by.

Happy Birthday Betty Blog Hop!

Today is Betty Roberts 40th Birthday!!!
YES the BIG 40
We thought we would make it as special as we possibly can! The awesome Rachel Sharp drew us up an image to use for Betty's Birthday!!
A whole bunch of AMAZING, SUPER TALENTED ladies have done some UNBELIEVABLE projects for you to see, they have all been mailed out to Betty for some AMAZING mail...but we thought you would all like to see these FANTASTIC projects..

For my project to with the Amazing Miss Betty Roberts a very 'Happy Birthday' I created this fun card using our special Birthday Betty image! I love coloring in every image, but the one that we used for today's hop is just beyond fun! I love the dress, the cake details, heck the whole enchilada! All of the image Betty had in her Simply Betty Stamps site are fabulous to work with! If you haven't checked them out yet you really should! Since Betty loves Halloween I wanted to create her a fun Halloween card as part of her Birthday celebration. I do hope she likes what I ended up with, I think it's a lot of fun myself!
