Miss Anya and My Guy Ian
Good afternoon all! For today I wanted to share with you these two fun cards I created for the wonderful Miss Gabby’s Miss Anya and My Guy Ian’s swap! I have a pretty large collection of stamps from The Greeting Farm, in fact I think I need to order some more after seeing their newest release, but a of now I am being ‘good’ and not ordering anything. When Gabby posted this swap I totally wanted to play along, in fact I had yet to ink up the My Guy Ian set so that had to be remedied! I tried to make his card sort of manly, so I stuck with a grey and maroon color combination plus I pulled out my diamond plate embossing folder to make it even more ‘manly’. I had no idea how to finish this card though, I finally decided that I would create an overlapping of satin ribbon and offset the main image in the upper right corner.
For my second spot I used Rain Miss Anya image from the set Rain Snow Shine. I think this may be one of my favorite Miss Anya’s in fact after I made this card I love this stamp even more. You know I have been on a bit of a ‘where is spring’ kick and this card is just perfect for spring! I used yellows and blues to create this super fun and cute Rainy day card! I also used my Swiss Dots embossing folder for the background on this card to go with the dots in her little umbrella. After I finished all the cards for the swap I realized that I didn’t even use any decorative paper, and that never seems to happen anymore! I do hope you liked both cards for today; I had a lot of fun with them!

Some More Greeting Farm Fun!
Good morning everyone! I thought for today I would share with you the two other cards I was able to complete for The Greeting Farm 12 Days of Sketches to kick off the New Year! I had hopes of completing all 12 sketches, but unfortunately I was only able to complete 4 of the 12, but I had a lot of fun with all of them. I did also start three other sketches, but as of now they are only colored images cut out and ready to go with no card to attach them to, but hey I tried. So let’s talk about the two I am sharing today that I did get completed. The first card may be the starting point for my 80s swap that Gabby is hosting on SCS, I do love how black and purple look together, but not sure if I like the finished product, I think I was thinking of something else when I started so I may try this one again before sending in my 80s cards to Miss Gabby.
For my second card I created a Mardi Gras inspired card for Kate’s Mardi Gras swap on SCS. I had a lot of fun with this one, I mean when I think Mardi Gras I think bright colors in shades of green, purple, an yellow with candy, beads, and masks. So I thought that lollipop Anya would be prefect for a Mardi Gras card, and of course I went with the typical colors associated with Mardi Gras. I really think that she turned out nicely, I love how the colors all work together and how I added the lollipops as an embellishment, in fact that may be my favorite part of the card. Hope you like both of my creations featuring stamps from The Greeting Farm. I did have a lot of fun with these! Have a wonderful day all!

Lollipop Anya – Stamps: Lollipop Anya from the Greeting Farm; Paper: Whisper White, Glorious Green, Yo Yo Yellow, Lavender Moon; Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, E00 Skin White, Y13, R27; Accessories: Cuttlebug Embossing Folder, Pop Dots, Stitched Yellow Ribbon

Greeting Farm Fun!
For my second sketch I used this adorable Miss Anya Love and went for all pinks on pink! I can not for the life of me find my oval nestabilities either, so I used this one instead and I think it still works. In fact not only are these card for the great Sketches that The Greeting Farm is hosting, but I am also using these cards for swaps I am in on SCS.Thursday, September 24, 2009
Farm Fresh Friday
Then had to add more, it just needed more, so I used on Candy Lane DP in the background on a smaller piece of paper and layered the dry embossed piece over that. I am loving how all these layers came out, it looks a lot better then I thought it would...lol....Then of course it was time to pull out the embellishments! I decided that Edward needed some matching ribbon so I pulled out my PTI Satin Dotted ribbon and created this cute little bow. This bow in particular is created separately then attached to the strip of ribbon on the paper piece by a glue dot, one way to get the perfect looking bow! I also grabbed my silver nail heads, I love these things, and I think it really pulls the whole card together! Hope you liked today's card! Have a great day!

Hippy Day!
This is another card I created for a swap on SCS that was due on the 1st of this month. This time Tammy is hosting an Anya/Ian swap, and with all the Anya’s and Ian’s I have I thought it would be a great way to use some more of my stamps. I had so much fun with this card; I created a card using this adorable Hippy Anya from The Greeting Farm and one of the great Verve sketches from the Anni-Verve-sary a few weeks ago. When I first got this stamp in the mail, I knew that I wanted to make a bright and happy card using this stamp, it was just screaming for bright colors. I thought she would look best as a blonde if I was going for bright colors and I just love the way yellow and pink look together, the rest just sort of fell into place. I just smile when I look at this card, I hope you like it as much as I do, maybe it will make you smile too! Have a great day!
Stamps: 70's Anya from The Greeting Farm; Paper: Whisper White, Razzelberry Fizz DP, Lemon Tart, Hibiscus Burst; Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, B05 Process Blue, E00 Skin White, RV13 Tender Pink, Y08 Acid Yellow, Y13 Lemon Yellow, Y15 Cadmium Yellow; Accessories: Pop Dots,

Summer Fun
I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend! The weather is finally starting to act like summer here and I am loving it! So what better card to share then this bright and super summery card I create a few weeks ago for The Greeting Farm design team call. I just love this adoable stamp, Shine from the collection set call Rain, Snow, Shime. I really love this paper, its from the Basic Grey collection Lime Rickey, which is just perfect for summer! With this card I had a lot of fun with these adorable flowers that a friend of mine sent my way, they really work wonderfully with this card and of course these PaperTrey buttons work nicely for flower centers. I hope you liked today's card and you get to enjoy some of the lovely summer weather! Have a great day! Tuesday, June 16, 2009

I am so glad that some of my uninked stamps are getting inked up, I have been doing great with that! Hoping to cintune creating more things this weekend using some stamps that have never seen ink. Today I thought I would post a card I made a few weeks ago for one of the VSN challenges. The challenge was to create a card using seven of one embellishment, so I went bling! I had so much frun with this card, fun, pink, bright, and blingy! Flutter On By
I had a lovely time this past weekend creating some fun and summery card featuring stamps from The Greeting Farm! I answered the Summer Design Team call issued from The Greeting Farm and we were asked to create cards using the colors yellow and orange, so my first card was this fun and springy Flutter By Anya. I had the hardest time finding decorative paper to match the purples and yellows I used in my main image, but after much sorting through paper and paper packs I found this sheet of paper that I bought last summer while at a crop, pretty isn't it. Then I had to use some sparkle, and I pulled out the crystals I bought while in NYC this weekend as well, aren't they pretty! I found myself in a bead store staring down possible gem colors and I had to pick a few, in fact I went with 7 different colors and 72 of each....oops! But I am loving these things, I used them on this card, and the card I posted here yesterday. Super fun and super shiny! I also thought that the corner to this card seemed empty so I got out my Prima flowers until I found one single flower that seemed to match and I dug through my PaperTrey buttons to find the one perfect to finish off the center. I hope you liked today's card, I know I had a lot of fun creating this one!Stamps: Flutter By from The Greeting Farm; Paper: Whisper White, Lavender Lace, Yo Yo Yellow, Basic Grey Lilly-Oh Baby! Girl; Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, E00 Skin White, V04 Lilac, V12 Pale Lilac, V17 Amethyst, Y15 Cadmium Yellow; Accessories: Quickie Glue Pen, Prima Flowers, PTI Yellow Button, Pop Dots
