I use this super fun sentiment, You miss 100% of the shots you don't take., ain't that the truth! If you don't at least try, then you can never succeed. I used some of my Bo Bunny Liberty Collection designer paper and paired it with a bit of red cardstock. I also used some of this cute red stitched ribbon as well as a prima flower with a wooden button center. I had a lot of fun with this sketch, I hope you decide to play along!

Have a great day and thank you so much for stopping by!

Welcome to our fourth Paper Pretties Monday Challenges! That's right! Each week we will be releasing 2 new images PLUS hosting a challenge so that you can play right along with us too!

This week our challenge is "BBQ or Picnic"!

Now it is time to share with all of you our two newest Digi Whatnot images, and you are going to love them! Please welcome our newest Digis: Chop Chop and Tutti Frutti!

For my card today I used the new image Tutti Frutti. I wanted to make a card that had picnic as it's inspiration so the color combination had to include red, but I didn't want to go with the usual red and white, and decided to use green and red. I know, very Christmas, but I thought that this shade of green reminded me more of the outdoors then of Christmas. I do hope you enjoy my card, I had so much fun with this image, he just makes me smile!

I do hope you decide to play along with us this week, we would love to see your take on our challenge! Thank you for stopping by today, I hope you have a fabulous day!

Birdhouse Girly!

Today I have a sweet card using an adorable little girl image from Whimsy and Stars Studio called Birdhouse Girly, she is so darn cute!

I stared to base my card off of the current Mojo Monday sketch, but it some how shifted to be this, so part of the layout works, I just don't have the strip of designer paper edged with scallops. I really do like the softness of this paper from Basic Grey and I think it was a perfect pair for this image and the colors I had used.

Thank you so much for stopping by, I do hope you enjoyed the card I shared with all of you today. Have a fabulous day!
Stamps: Birdhouse Girly from Whimsy and Stars Studio; Paper: Whisper White, Maroon, Pretty In Pink, Basic Grey Madeline DP; Ink: E00 Skin White, R39 Garnet, E57 Light Walnut, R81 Rose Pink, RV55 Hollyhock, E23 Hazelnut; Accessories: Pop Dots, Glue Dots, Ribbon, Scalloped and Regular Circle Nestabilities

For my card today I used Flower Name - Rose for my creation! I wanted a simple and sweet image that I thought might look perfect with a bit of "Shabby Chic", but to be honest, this is really not my style. I did a lot of distressing to the layers, but only by creating wrinkles in the paper and not by inking them up. Such a fun image to work with!

I hope you enjoyed my creation for today, I can't wait to see what you create for this weeks challenge! Have a fabulous weekend all!

This card was also entered into the following challenge: Simply Create - Distress.

Oldie But Goodie!

Today is Thursday, which means that today is Oldie But Goodie day at Bugaboo Stamps! Now Oldie But Goodie Day means that team members are sharing creations they made using stamps that are not new, but those good ol' stamps that are a part of the Bugaboo Stamps collection!

For my card today I decided to use this fun image, Girl Knobby Knees! I wanted to use more of the My Mind's Eye Lime Twist Happy Go Lucky paper pad, as you can tell I have used this one many times. I just find the colors to be so fun and bright, with this card I decided to pull out the bright green from the leaves in the background paper. I also used this fun ric rack I have that matches the layer I used for the background. This card just makes me smile, if I was upset at someone and got this card, I think I would forgive them!

I had so much fun with this, I hope you enjoy my card and be sure to hop on over to the Bugaboo Blog to check out the rest of the Design Teams creations! I do hope you like my Oldie But Goodies today, I am still having so much fun with these images! Have a great day all!

It is time for a new Paper Makeup Stamps Challenge! This one is called Sizzlin Summer and it is a challenge all about colors! We want to see you use the colors of summer, so think Reds, Oranges, and Yellows! The challenge will be open for one week, and one lucky winner will be given a $10.00 voucher for some Paper Makeup Stamps images! How awesome is that?!

For my card I decided to ink up Shaela Fairy, I thought with the sparkler in her hand she would be perfect for a summer color challenge! I used some of My Mind's Eye Out of the Blue designer paper and my Peony Nestabilities for this fun shape. I stayed with the red, orange, and yellow theme because I thought she would look best in those colors. I really do like how this one came out, plus this image was so much fun to work with!

Whimsy and Stars Studios and Try a New Tecnique

Today I wanted to share a card I was able to make yesterday that follows the current Try a New Technique Challenge on SCS! I decided to use this adorable little fairy from Whimsy and Stars Studio! This sweet image is called Posie Fairy, she is so darn cute!I have a blast each time I sit down and color in one of Mabelle's images, each image is so detailed and fun to work with. For this image I used some of My Mind's Eye Life of the Party designer paper and created a "Z-Fold" card. I can honestly not recall the last time I made a card like this, but I think it was at a card class I took forever ago. It's sort of silly how you forget some of the basic folds that really make a card so different. I had a lot of fun with this card, I used my ticket corner punch and added some pearls to each corner plus I used my Labels Four Nestabilities to cut the main image out, and this time instead of using a sponge to create a color in the background I outlined the image in a very light blue Copic marker and then I went back and dotted in some color. It is a bit hard to see the effect it created, but it looks so pretty in person. Then to complete the entire card I tied some satin ribbon, this really was such a fun card to make.

Thank you so much for stopping by, I do hope you enjoyed the card I shared with all of you today. Have a fabulous day!
Stamps: Posie Fairy from Whimsy and Stars Studio; Paper: Whisper White, Aqua Mist, Light Green, Bright Pink, My Mind's Eye Life of the Party DP; Ink: E00 Skin White, B0000 Pale Celestine, Y02 Canary Yellow, E97 Deep Orange, YG07 Acid Green, Y11 Pale Yellow, R81 Rose Red, FRV1 Florescent Pink; Accessories: Pop Dots, Ticket Corner Punch, Nestabilities Labels Four Small, Self Adhesive Pearls, Satin Ribbon

For my card today I am featuring the stamp set 'Eye Pod'! I got this cutie in my Design Team package and it has been calling my name since I saw this little guy! He just makes me smile, he looks so relaxed and calm which is not what your used to see with alien stamps, but I love this one! I simply love my own Ipod and I love the play on words that was used for this stamp, what a great idea! I wanted to create a masculine card, so even though I was tempted I did not add ribbon to this one, he's a bit simple, but I think I achieved what I set out to do with this stamp.

For my card today I used the new image ZZZZZ. I wanted to create a clean and simple card with this image, I thought it would show this cute alligator more then anything, I didn't want to overdo anything that might draw away from how relaxed he looks, talk about 'Lazy Days of Summer'!

I do hope you decide to play along with us this week, we would love to see your take on our challenge! Thank you for stopping by today, I hope you have a fabulous day!
