Sassy Studios Designs Release - Going Green!

Today we are releasing ans showcasing some re-released image, but they are all so much fun! I got to feature this amazing new image, Maxi Skirt Momma! The challenge to the DT for this release was to create a project using the fabulous tic-tac-toe board below! I love Tic-Tac-Toe challenges, and this one is all about "Reuse" or "Going Green"! I am one of the release team planners and we wanted there to be something that would be all about Green! I used the second line across that reads "Flowers - Reuse - Die Cut" but it could also count for "Reuse - Flower - Ribbon"! My 'Reuse' is the flower which I got off of an old children's shirt and the designer paper that came from a card that got messed up during the move.

Sassy Studio Designs - Let’s Get Fresh With The New SentiMints!

Today is the Sassy Studio Designs Reveal and Release of the fabulous new line called SentiMints! That's right, today we are releasing all sorts of amazing new SentiMints that you are simply going to love! I instantly though of using a teacher image, but after looking at the Snow White Pin-up image and how she is holding an apple in her hand I thought putting her in front of a black board would be perfect! I hope you agree, I had a blast with this creation!

Sassy Studio Designs New Release/Blog Hop - Welcome Spring!

Today is the Sassy Studio Designs February Release Blog Hop! That's right, today we are releasing all sorts of amazing images! You should have arrived here from Greg's Blog, if not please head back to the SSD Blog so you don't miss out on any of the release fun!

Today we are releasing ans showcasing some re-released image, but they are all so much fun! I got to feature this amazing new image, Pageant Queen! The challenge to the DT for this release was to create an ABC, or Anything But a Card so I worked on altering this cute little notebook. I had so much fun coloring in this image, I usually shy away from so much red on one image, but if you were a Pageant Queen you would work the bold color well so I thought I would give it a shot too! I used this lovely stitched ribbon to offset the sharp reds, and used this fun designer paper to break it up a bit too.

Sassy Studio Designs November New Release and Blog Hop!

Today we have 5 new Sassy Images PLUS some fabulous background and accent stamps being released too! I got to feature two wonderful images today one of our newest Sassy's, Don't Open Til Christmas Sassy and one of our fabulous new scene backgrounds, Under the Christmas Tree Background! The challenge to the DT for this release was Silver and/or Gold and I am a silver person through and through so for this card I used this wonderful metallic paper as a mat for my background image and I added some silver accents. I realize that it's a bit hard to see, but if you check out the image closely the areas that are a gray tone all have Starlight Smooch on it which has silver glitter too! Plus I added this fun silver ribbon to tie it all together.

For my project today I am featuring the amazing new image, Princess Ariel Pin-Up, this girl is rockin'! I paired her and her amazing reddish hair with these lovely shades of teals. I wanted to keep the outfit in the green family since it reminds me a bit of her tail as well as it shows off the neat sheer quality of this outfit. For my project today I decided to make this fun bright green card! When I think about the character Oz, I think about how he created and over saw the Emerald City. Now, I have not seen the new movie so I don't know what he does in this movie, but it seemed fitting to me to create a green on green card with touches of yellow too, for the 'yellow brick road' of course! I also used this great ticket sentiment too!

Sassy Studio Designs January Release!

Today is the first day of two days for the Sassy Studio Designs January Release! This month we are having a blog hop featuring brand new Sassy Villains! We are releasing 4 fabulous images that you are simply going to love! The challenge this month is all about 'Favorites', we have to create a project using some of our favorite's and for mine I decided to use this fabulous new designer paper from Doodlebug and some great vintage seam binding, one of my favorite ribbons to use! Also we are sharing with you our favorite Sassy Studio Designs card from 2012. I selected this fun one I made for one of SSD Sponsorships from June:

My card today features our fabulous new image The Queen of Hearts, this is such a pretty and sassy image I think it really shines by itself so I went with a simple layout. I thought this patterned paper was perfect for her and this washi tape created a fabulous border. I also added this vintage seam binding that I love and these great red metallic embellishments.

Sassy Studio Designs November Release!

Today is the first day of two days for the Sassy Studio Designs November Release! This month we are doing things a bit differently, there isn't a Blog Hop, but the team will be sharing creations on both Saturday and Sunday this weekend. We are releasing 5 fabulous images that you are simply going to love!

The challenge this month is Vintage or Shabby Chic, talk about eek! I am not someone who typically works in Vintage or Shabby Chic, but I pushed and had a lot of fun with this. I tried to distress the background paper and I think it really works well for this. My card today features our fabulous new image The Greatest Gift, this is such a pretty image and it really shines by itself so I went with a simple layout. I thought she would look lovely in soft green tones and then I added some vintage seam binding and scalloped edges to soften the overall feel to the card as well.

Sassy Studio Designs October Release!

Today is day two of the Sassy Studio Designs October Release Blog Hop! For my project today I decided to make a treat box filled with candy corn, a super fun way to have sweets and celebrate Halloween. I also used the above Bingo board for my creation, I picked the line that reads 'spider, skull bones, free space, green, cauldron' with the exception that since I couldn't find a cauldron I created a treat box and filled it with something dangerous, as witches do in their cauldrons. If the release wasn't enough fun today Sassy Studio Designs is also sponsoring two fabulous challenges that I used for my creation as well! We are sponsoring Vintage Elusions Cards and Crafts, whose challenge is 'Anything Goes', and Corrosive Challenge, this week their challenge is 'Treacherous Treats'! It's a Halloween Party...Sassy Style! SSD September Release!

 Today is day one of the Sassy Studio Designs September Release Blog Hop! That's right, this weekend we are releasing all sorts of amazing images, and I am sharing creations featuring two of our new images today! Plus, this releases theme is Halloween Party! The entire design team will be sharing with you creations that are all about Halloween Parties! My first project for today is a cute little Halloween treat basket, I mean no Halloween party would be complete without decorations. I used the fabulous new image called Good vs. Evil, I just love the way this duo looks! So spunky but pretty too. I used yellows and reds for their outfits, yes red doesn't really go with the designer paper...but she's a devil, she does what she want to!

For my second project I created a little treat based off of a project one of my local SU! Demos used with my own Angel spin on it. I added this sweet Angel image to the project, to make it look more versatile and fun!

Sassy Studio Designs August Release!

Good morning and welcome to the Sassy Studio Designs Vicious Villain Honeys Release and Blog Hop! We are releasing some amazing images today, all of who are Villains! That's right, it's time to bring out our 'bad' sides and create! You are going to love this release, in fact you are going to need every villain and their corresponding honey image (if we have one!)!

For my card today I got the joy of working with the villainous image, "Maleficent" from Sleeping Beauty! I just loved this image when I saw it, but to be honest, she is SO intimidating. I mean look at her! Does she look happy and sweet? I wanted to create a creepy card, but I also wanted to stay true to the character so for my sentiment, I used one of her memorable lines to me from the movie. In fact she practically yelled this line, but it was a wonderfully wicked moment in the film.

Today we are also asked to share what our favorite Disney movie is and MAN was that a hard question to answer! I am going to say that Anastasia is my favorite, I don't know what it is, but the music, the storyline, it just all works together and the images are just so nice. What is your favorite Disney movie? There are just so many to pick from, it is a hard question to answer for sure! In fact, if I had been asked this question growing up my answer would have been Sleeping Beauty, I saw it probably 50 times!

EDITED TO ADD: It seems that Anastasia is not a Disney movie, I had no idea! Which means I refer back to my previous statement about Sleeping Beauty being my favorite :)

For my card today I got the pleasure of working with the adorable new Dutch Girl! I just love how sweet she is, I tried finding tulip paper, but instead I decided on this fun floral print that I paired with green and pink. I also added some two toned ribbon and some pearls and rhinestones to finish it all off.

For my card I got the pleasure of using this fabulous new image, Canada Honey! I just love her outfit, it looks just like a bounty! Plus it has that awesome hat that they wear, which I had to smile about. I think Lindsey did an amazing job capturing some a Canada's culture in this image, plus it's just in time for the Olympics to start...which I am SO excited about!

Sassy Studio Designs Mini Release - Ladies Night!

Good morning! June is a BIG month at Sassy Studio Designs, in fact it is our Anniversary, so to celebrate we are hosting mini releases every weekend this month! Woo hoo! Talk about a celebration! Today is our first Mini Release and the theme is Ladies Night! You should have gotten to my blog from Debbie, if not head on over to the Sassy Studio Designs Blog!I am featuring this super fun new image called Lager, isn't she just too Sassy! I paired this image with some Simple Stories Simply Summer designer paper, both the plaid pattern and the 'Life is Good' paper are from the 6x6 paper pad. I also used this shiny red ribbon to top it all off. Now, a good Ladies Night is always a lot of fun, in fact I am so blessed to have some amazing ladies in my life who I go on a trip with once a year. Actually, our trip will be taking place next month and I can not wait, it's a whole weekend of Ladies Nights!

Sassy Studio Designs May Release!

Welcome to the Sassy Studio Designs May Release Blog Hop! This month we have all sorts of fabulous images to share with you that are amazing! This month our Blog Hop Theme is Flowers! That's right, flowers! The entire team has used flowers on their creations in some way and we are all sharing our favorite flowers. Mine would be either Roses or Calla Lilies, they are both such stunning flowers and I love their scents.
