Whimsie Doodles - Happy Dad's Day!

Good morning Ladies and Gents! Today I get to share with you another fun creation using one of the images from the May Whimsie Doodles release! That's right, I am the May Guest Designers at Whimsie Doodles...WOOT! WOOT! To say I am excited to be bringing more creations using some new Whimsie Doodles! Today is the last day of May, which mean that today is my last day as a Guest Designer for Whimsie Doodles but I have had a BLAST this month! Thank very much for the opportunity!

For my card I used Turtle Pile, this image is just perfect for Father's Day! I used this fun and simple paper and added a bit of shine with this ribbon!

There is a BUZZ in the air...

For my card I used Buzz in the Air, these cute little bees are just so darn cute and I love how they come with this adorable matching sentiment! I paired them with this great paper from Bo Bunny called Hello Sunshine, I thought the honeycomb background was perfect for these bees to buzz around! For my card I used Fairy, this cute little darling girl that Melyssa created, talk about adorable! I paired her with these fun papers from Bo Bunny! I loved the colors in this paper and I just had to use it with this image, then I added lots of silver smooch to her wings to make them shine, oh and a bit on the roses in her hair.

For my card I used Leah's Secret, this cute little girl that Melyssa created, talk about adorable! I paired her with these fun papers from Jillibean Soup, I love these patterns and who well they seem to work with these images. I popped this image up on the background die cuts and then I added more pop dots behind the main die cut. Bump It Up!

New Challenge at Whimsie Doodles!

Today kicks off the Monthly Challenge at the Whimsie Doodles Blog! I simply love their challenges each month, and this months challenge is GREAT! The challenge is "BUMP IT UP"!

I used dry embossing on the card base for my "bump" then to add a bit more dimension I also used pop dots on the two Whismie Doodles images. I used two of our new releases on today's card and I think these two images compliment each other nicely, they are called "Pollen for you" and "Flowers". New Release at Whimsie Doodles!

This month we have all sorts of fabulous new images! Perfect for Grads, Dads, and everything in between! For my card today I used the image, Mr. Fix It! I think he would make the perfect Father's Day card, especially from a son to his Dad. I paired him with this fun gingham designer paper from Jillibean Soup, it just reminded me of the plaid shirts my Dad would wear when he was working or fixing something around the house. This little guy is just so cute!

Whimsie Doodles - Spring Fling Challenge!

Today I got the chance to play along with the current Whimsie Doodles March Challenge! I have been a fan of Whimsie Doodles for a while and I simply love their adorable images so I just HAD to play along this month!

This month the challenge is, "Sping Fling", and with the fabulous spring weather we have been having I was totally inspired! I used this super cute Gnome image from Whismie Doodles called Go Big Gnome! I also used a few of my dies to create a great shape for the image and matching sentiment plus a nice border and some super fun and springy flowers!

Oh Scrap!

Today I finally got a chance to play along with the current Whimsie Doodles February Challenge! I have been a fan of Whimsie Doodles since a very close friend of mine was on their DT, but I never got the chance to play along and I made the time today!

This month the challenge is, "Oh Scrap", another words they want you to use your scraps to create your card! How fun and simple too! I used scraps that were in my scrap pile (except the card base) from my card making last weekend. I did get the new Copic colors and this light green I am loving and these papers seem to go really well with this marker. This adorable image is called Pencil Pixie, she is just SO cute!
