Fab 'n' Funky Challenge - Button It Up!

It is Wednesday, which means that it is time for another challenge at the Fab 'n' Funky Challenge Blog! This week it is Wendy's turn to host the challenge for the Fab 'n' Funky Team and she picked the fun challenge 'Button It Up'!

For my card I decided to use this super sweet and darling image Adorable Cowgirl from our sponsor this week, The Paper Shelter! I had so much fun working with this image. I have this fabulous paper pad from Carte Bella called Giddy Up that was perfect for this image, and being able to pull out matching buttons just finished it off!

The Paper Shelter Design Team Call!

Good Morning All! Today I am sharing with you a card I made recently to answer the current Design Team Call at The Paper Shelter! To say that I am a fan of The Paper Shelter would be an understatement, I have become a mainly digi designer and I simple adore the images that The Paper Shelter releases. I have masses of them in fact, okay maybe not masses, but I do have lots of their images since they are just all so darn cute!

For my card today I used the image, A Little Bit Grumpy, I just think this fairy is fabulous! I love the expressions and the hair style, it's so much fun and she is just so darn cute! I think this card shows my personal style and my coloring skills. I simply love to color and I think I work well with shades and hues of color.

 

I also wanted to share the two cards above that I think show off my coloring skills and design skills as well which could help with the Design Call submission. Both cards are a bit different then my first card at the beginning of the post, but I think all three show what I am capable of.

Fab 'n' Funky Challenge - Stars and Stripes!

It is Wednesday, which means that it is time for another challenge at the Fab 'n' Funky Challenge Blog! This week the Fab 'n' Funky Team is creating samples for the challenge, "Stars and Stripes"!
This week we have two fabulous sponsors and I was able to create samples for both sponsors. The fabulous sponsors this week are Tickled Pink Stamps and The Paper Shelter! For my card using a Paper Shelter image I inked up Cool Waitress! I paired her with this awesome cardstock sticker I got as a freebie at my LSS at their anniversary sale, it was perfect for this challenge plus this great ribbon in my stash from The Ribbon Carousel matched too! For my Tickled Pink Stamps card I didn't go for the 'Red, White, and Blue' color combination with today being the 4th of July here in the US, instead I used this fun striped paper that has some great pink, yellow and green tones with matching stitched ribbon.
