I joined a fun Gina K swap on SCS hosted by another 'Ho' McFadden where you had to create a card using two images from Gina K. Two images? That took me a while to decide which two images would be best to use for this one, I finally decided on using two sets that Melanie Muenchinger illustrated, two of my favorite Gina K sets. The first set being 'A Year of Flowers' and the second set being 'Hand in Hand', I think these two sets really worked well together. I just love these roses, in fact I collect roses to a certain extent, and I used a copic marker to give the roses in the background a bit of shading. Then I added these adorable hands and cute matching sentiment to the card, overall the feel was a pretty sweet card I think. Then for the finishing touches I added some tiny twinklets and some super yummy PTI dotted Satin ribbon.
Stamps: A Year of Flowers and Hand in Hand from Gina K; Paper: Cream, Dark Chocolate; Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa, E00 Skin White, E51 Milky White; Accessories: Dark Chocolate Swiss Dot Satin Ribbon, Taylored Expressions Tiny Twinklets
