Some Simple Innocence

I was sorting through my photos and I realized that I never posted my My Favorite Things card from a few weeks ago and I just had to share! I don't know if you follow MFT but each week Kim and her fabulous Design Team members are hosting a Wednesday Stamp Club! How fun is that?! The last one I participated in was all about using line images, but the catch was we were not allowed to color in the images, talk about oh no moment. I was so intimidated by this challenge, but at the same time I really wanted to try something new, so I created a set of four cards all four using the Pure Innocence line from My Favorite Things and not picking up a single coloring tool. I pulled out my Kraft paper, Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad, and some fun elements from around my work area and got to work. I used this wonderful Sugar Rush DP for my color palette and used it as a stepping off point in all four of my cards, and if you can't see it, I used just a bit of Taffy Smooch on each of the little hearts on the images.I really like the third card I made, the one above, not sure why, but the paper piecing is just so much fun! I think this may be one of my favorite images from the PI line, she is just so cute! Well, I take that back, My Umbrella is my favorite, but I haven't finished that card yet to share with you! So stay tuned, eventually that card will be done for you to see, in the mean time enjoy these creations!Even without the coloring, which is honestly what takes me so darn long to create a card, I really like how these cards came out, they all turned out simple and sweet, something I wasn't expecting to say the least. Hope you enjoy seeing some of my cards from a few weeks ago, have a great day!

Jackie--these are adorable! I too would be intimated by not coloring, but they certainly look great!
