Simply Betty Fun!

Each month Simply Betty Stamps host a fun challenge through their FB Group and I have a lot of fun playing along. This month's challenge is to take the given image, Medusa, and use it with the colors Black, Cream and One Other Color. For my 'one other' color I choose this awesome shade called Pool Party!

I simply love this color, in fact I have been hoarding it but finally started cutting into it this weekend after a crafty dry spell. It seems to have sparked something back up again and I love how this card came out. I used this great paper from SU! that was part of the SAB celebration, this one called Sycamore Street. I simply love the color combinations in this entire set, but with the challenge I could only pick one so this sheet matched my image perfectly.

I hope you enjoyed what I shared with you today. Have a great day!

Follow the Yellow Brick Road with Sassy Studio Designs!

Today is day two of the Sassy Studio Designs March Release Blog Hop! That's right, this weekend we are releasing all sorts of amazing images, this releases theme is Follow the Yellow Brick Road! The entire design team will be sharing with you creations that are all about Oz, each with a Wicked Statement on each project too! You should have arrived here from Alaine's Blog, if not please head back to the SSD Blog so you don't miss out on any of the release fun!

For my project today I decided to make this fun bright green card! When I think about the character Oz, I think about how he created and over saw the Emerald City. Now, I have not seen the new movie so I don't know what he does in this movie, but it seemed fitting to me to create a green on green card with touches of yellow too, for the 'yellow brick road' of course! I also used this great ticket sentiment too!

We have lots of prizes to give away too this hop but you have to comment on the Designers blogs to win, so be sure to leave comments at each stop you may be one of the lucky ones who win some of these amazing images!
The next stop on today's hop is Tina's Blog, and I just know that she has something amazing to share with you...so head on over I mean what are you waiting for! Enjoy the rest of the hop

A Little Blue!

Good morning all! Today I have a card that I created for a fabulous challenge at Riley and Co! I love the fabulously fun moose themed images that Riley and Company releases, but I HAD to pick up some of their newest Retro People with one of their sentiment stamps called Funny Bones!

Their current challenge is to create a card following the color combination of Yellow, Blue, and Green! Now, when I read the sentiment I just had to add bubble wrap to my card and then I thought I would add splashes of color in the background to make it look like the bubbles were popping....I like how it turned out, but it was not what I was picturing. Even though it didn't all come together, I did have a lot of fun with this fabulous Funny Bones stamps!

Thank you so much for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed what I shared today. Have a fabulous day!
