Paper Pretties Monday Whatnots...Tuesday Time!

This week, we are doing something a bit different. This week marks the last week for the current Paper Pretties Digi Design Team, so in celebration we are sharing cards with all of you that we made using one of our favorite images from the releases we have had this year. Some of our current team will be joining us for another term, but we are still looking to add more designers to our Monday Whatnots. If you are interested please check out our Digi Design Team Call, we would love to have you join us!

For my card today I decided to use this adorable Butterfly, Beatrice. I just love the wing design on her, it gave me the chance to pull in all sorts of colors from the designer paper I used, once again I used My Mind's Eye Lime Twist Happy Go Lucky as my designer paper. I think this pad will be the first one that I actually use all of! I also got the chance to play along with the current Sweet Sunday Sketch, which I thought really complimented this image nicely. I added some layers in the background with this card, I just felt that all of that yellow would have been too much, yes I know that the added layers made the card a bit 'loud', but I think it turned out to be a lot of fun just like this.

I do hope you enjoyed my creation for today, I had a lot of fun with this one. Have a fabulous day all!
Stamps: Beatrice Butterfly from Paper Pretties; Paper: Whisper White, Lemon Tart, Raspberry Fizz, Deep Pink, My Mind's Eye Lime Twist Happy Go Lucky DP; Ink: RV19 Red Violet, Y11 Pale Yellow, R81 Rose Pink, Rv55 Holly Hock, BG49 Duck Blue; Accessories: Pop Dots, Self Adhesive Pearls

Inky Inspiration - Water Lili

Good morning all it is time to share a bit of Inky Impressions Water Lili Inspiration! That's right, today I have a creation to share with you using one of the fun stamps from the Inky Impressions Store!

For my card today I wanted to use this stamp Water Lili! I have been having a lot of fun using some of Inky's summer images, and this one is just so darn cute! I paired her with some of the My Mind's Eye Lime Twist designer paper, a must have in my book! I used Kraft as the card base and a layering element to offset the bright dotted paper I went with. I also used some ribbon similar in color to tie it all together.

Have you heard about the current sale? Well, Inky Impressions had such a great show at the AIS convention that Nicole decided to continue on the sale through the store too! Be sure to head on over to the store and take advantage of this sale while you still can, you won't regret it!

Thank you for stopping by today, I do hope that you enjoy my creation for today and have a fabulous day!

Good morning all! Today I have a card for you using one of the soon to be released images from Whimsy and Stars Studio! You are going to LOVE this release, each image is cuter then the last, and they are all so much fun to work with!

I have a blast each time I sit down and color in one of Mabelle's images, each image is so detailed and fun to work with. For this image I used one of my Nestabilities dies as well as some Echo Park Summertime designer paper that I thought really matched this image. I loved the playful scene and the balloons as well that mimicked the image itself. A Bit of Whimsy Mojo

Good morning all! Today I am sharing with you a card I made using one of the newly release Whimsy and Stars Studio spring images! This cutie is called Rosie Ballerina! It's just such a sweet image that it just makes me smile, oh heck they all make me smile!
I have a blast each time I sit down and color in one of Mabelle's images, each image is so detailed and fun to work with. For this image I wanted to play along with the current Mojo Monday challenge! I think that this sketch is pretty neat, I liked the idea of using strips of paper to make the background for my card, so I pulled out a bunch of scraps from a handful of my recent cards and added one more pattern to get the background. I really like how the dots worked so well with both this image and the flowers in the pattern I added from the same designer paper pad. I almost didn't add the ribbon since I couldn't find one ribbon I felt like worked, but as I was taking my photo I spied this stitched ribbon and adjusted the card to add it in, now I am glad I did so.

Have you checked out the Whimsy and Stars Studio Store yet? Well if you haven't, what are you waiting for! You are going to love these fun images, they all make me smile, I know they will do the same for you! I hope you have a wonderful day!

Today the Inky Impressions Design Team will be sharing our creations for the current Inky Impressions Challenge! For my card today I decided to ink up Hula Lili! Hang In There!

It's Tuesday which means that it is time for a New Release at Bugaboo Stamps! That's right today we are releasing all new images at the Bugaboo Store! Today's set is totally cute, or I think so and it is called 'Hang In There' and is all about bras!

Yes, you read that right! It is all about the 'support' for us ladies and this set has some fabulous sentiments too! For my card today I wanted really showcase the image so I went with a clean and simple card using just my long rectangle nestabilties for the main image and then using the same sized one in scalloped form. I pulled the green from the dots I colored in on the far left of the clothes line and I thought that this image needed a bit a satin, so I used this lovely satin ribbon to tie it all together. Plus, not many cards are complete without a bit of bling, so I added that as well!

I hope you enjoyed my card for today, I really had a lot of fun with this one! Be sure to check out the Bugaboo Blog and see the other DTs Members creations with today's new images, you are going to love these images! Have a great day and I hope that you enjoyed today's card fun!

Be sure to leave your great creations with Mr. Linky at the bottom of the post on the Catch the Bug Challenge Blog! I can not wait to see what you create for our new challenge!

For my card today I used JJ Shopping - Doesn't Come Cheap. I simply love her outfit and as always her attitude with every image is just perfect, I wanted to capture that 'dressy' feeling that I thought she would have in my card and with the colors I used on this image. I went with a pink and a rose color combination and I think it really works, and of course if your going to look good, you need some scallops and bling!

I hope you enjoyed my creation for today, I can't wait to see what you create for this weeks challenge! Have a fabulous weekend all!

This card was also entered into the following challenges: Guylou's Inimitability Challenge - Monochromatic; Joyful Stamper - Anything Goes.
Stamps: JJ Shopping - Doesn't Come Cheap from Bugaboo Stamps; Paper: Whisper White, Pink, Rose Red, My Mind's Eye Lime Twist DP; Ink: R81 Rose Pink, YG09 Lettuce Green, E00 Skin White, E23 Hazelnut, RV34 Dark Pink, N3 Neutral Gray No. 3; Accessories: Pop Dots, Long Scalloped and Regular Rectangle Nestabilities, Quickie Glue Pen, Zva Rhinestones

Did You See?!

I got an email from my friend Michele yesterday letting me know that I was selected as this week's Trendsetting Spotlight on the There She Goes Blog! How exciting is that?! I think it is pretty awesome, thank you ladies so much for selecting me!I saw the post and decided to browse my blog to see what creations I had using There She Goes stamps, and I realized that I haven't shared all sorts of cards I created for TSG Swaps! So what better thing to do today, then share those creations that you have not been shown yet! The first card I think might be my favorite one I have created using Daily Grind, I had so much fun with the shades of grays and teals in this image! My first ATC uses the stamp set Puppy Love, I think this image was my favorite from the set and I just wanted to create a simple setting for this pair. I cut out the duo with a Oval Nestabilties Die then I used this grass die as well to finish off the look. The second ATC uses the stamp set Side By Side and it's a bit hard to see, but both blooms have crystal effects so that they shine in addition to the layered regular and scalloped oval being popped off the base. Plus I added a bit of bling in the corners where I used my ticket corner punch too! This last ATC uses that stamp set Loads of Fun and the color combination of teal and brown, I had loved this sentiment when the set was first released and I just HAD to use it when I inked up this stamp set!I unfortunately don't have all the details for all three cards since they were created a while ago and for swaps, but I just wanted to share these with you today in honor of being selected as the Trendsetting Spotlight! I do hope you enjoyed my creations, have a fabulous day!
