Paper Pretties and Tuesday Morning Sketches!

Paper Pretties is sponsoring this weeks Tuesday Morning Sketches! This week the challenge is a technique challenge, that's right the challenge is to create a Diagonal Pocket Card! The entire Team at Tuesday Morning Sketches are simply fabulous, so today since we are sponsoring the challenge this week I thought I would play along too! Now to be honest I have never once made one of these types of cards, but they always look so darn nifty I had to give it a try, and I was surprised with my result!

I was having a bit of a hard time with this one, but it all came together when I finally picked out my paper and stamp set. I decided to ink up Flirty Fortunes for this fun and flirty card and I paired it with this SU! Paper Pad I have had for ages it seems Sweet Pea. This set is a lot of fun and I thought it had some great accessory images for these tags to pull out. My tags have a pair of chop sticks and a fortune that reads 'Flattery will go far tonight!'...isn't that so funny! Well I hope you enjoy my card for today, be sure to join us at Tuesday Morning Sketches this week for a chance to win some fabulous Paper Pretties stamps! In fact Heather is offering a super fun prize package of 4 stamp sets from the Paper Pretties store: Wade E. Bug, One of those days, Look Out World Cooper and You're Maarvelous Sophia! Talk about a prize package! Be sure to check out the Paper Pretties Blog to see what some of the rest of the DT members created too!

Sweet Pea, Sweet Blush; Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, E43 Dull Ivory, RV32 Shadow Pink, E42 Sand White, RV34 Dark Pink; Accessories: Pop Dots, Crop-A-Dile, Sticky Strip, May Arts Satin Ribbon, Self Adhesive Spring Jewels

What an awesome idea to rotate this technique 90 degrees -- I'll definitely case that idea! Fun image and great tags to go with it!!
