Chichiboulie Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Chichiboulie Blog Hop sponsored by Stamping Bella! If you've just happened upon my blog, you can CLICK HERE to start from the beginning at Bloggabella.

For my card today for the Hop I decided to use the adorable Cuppycake with a Huggabugg on top, I ordered this stamp when she was first released, but I forgot all about this cutie until I was digging around and deciding which stamp to use! Then I remembered the DP from one of the DCWV Baby Girl pack and thought it would be perfect for this image, isn't this paper just perfect for this image! I had a lot of fun with this card, hope you like it too!

How about a prize? In addition to the fabulous eye candy, we have decided to hide a prize somewhere along the hop! One pre-selected blogger will draw a random winner from the comments on her post, and the winner will receive a $25 Gift Voucher to Stamping Bella!!! The fun part is...we're not telling you who it is! So as you hop, make sure you leave comments on every post so you have a chance to win!! We will announce the winner on Monday in the Splitcoast forum. MWAH!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Now it's time to hop on over to Meahn! Enjoy the rest of the hop, I know it is going to be fabulous!Stamps: Cuppycake with a Huggabugg on top from Stamping Bella; Paper: Whisper White, DCWN Nana's Nursery Girl DP ; Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, E00 Skin White, E50 Egg Shell, E57 Light Walnut, G24 Willow, N1 Neutral Grey No. 1. Halloween Happy Birthday!

Today is Saturday which means that I get to share with you another Artful INKables creation! One of the ladies at work has a friend whose Birthday is on Halloween, so at work this week she asked me to make her two Halloween themed Birthday cards that she could give to her friend. I must say I had no idea where to start with this one, but after chatting with her for a bit, she wanted a Orange and Black card with an older feel, but to still be birthday at the same time. I decided that the Artful INKables set Halloween Hauntings would be perfect! When I took the set out again I gravitated towards the house as a main image, I thought it looked aged and matched this paper wonderfully at the same time! The background paper is all glittery, which is I love, plus the ribbon across the bottom of the card is glittery as well! I do how you like the finished project, not your typical birthday card, but I think it works. Have a great day all, thanks for stopping by!

For you chance to be entered into the blog candy draw you have until midnight Sunday, November 1st to comment!

Today I'm showing you a card made with the 'retro' stamp set Snow Play! I am loving this adorable winter stamp set, there are some fun images, plus amazing sentiments! I used the little girl image as my main focus and the 'Let it Snow' sentiment! Since it was snow I had to add some snowflakes, so I pulled out my Cuttlebug and got to work, first with the Nestabilities and then with my Snowflakes embossing folder. I hope you enjoy my card, this set has really been a lot of fun to use!

So for my card I used Steampunk Sarah, who is still one of my favorite stamps form Artful INKables! I thought that she would be perfect for this sketch too, I mean, she was made for this layout! I decided to use not only the sketch provided for this current Think INK challenge but to use this beautiful paper I used as a color palette. I really like how different this card came out, she looks just too cute in these colors and all here little details really made the color palette work. I hope you enjoyed my card, I can't wait to see your creation for this one! Have a wonderful weekend all!

Pretty nice sized list if I do say so myself. I know this Hop is going to be a blast! Now on to the details of my card creation for today! When it came to starting my card today it was just so hard to decide which stamp to use! I ended up using the new Hanna Stamps set Detective Hanna, I just love how snazzy she looks when she is in pursuit of a mystery! I thought she would like one of the old time detective if I used brown as an accent color and a darker olive green as a main color. Not really my typical colors, but I think that this stamp is perfect for the feel of this card. I really had a lot of fun with this card and her overall look, its a bit hard to see but there are foot prints that Hanna is following, hopefully they will lead her to the truth! Hope you enjoyed my card for today's hop, I know I had a blast with it!

Now its time to head on over to the next place on the hop, Joycelyn! I am sure she will have something amazing to share with you! Enjoy the rest of your journey, I know its going to be all sorts of fun!

There She Goes Birthday!

I am horrible about making birthday cards, I never have enough around for birthday and I typically don't realize I was supposed to send out the card until the persons birthday has passed. This card I created a few months ago for another coworker, her teenage cousin was celebrating her birthday and she requested me to make a card fashioned after a There She Goes card from a while ago. I had brought in a bag full of cards that might work as birthday cards and she saw my pink, blue, and yellow card (Sent with Love) and she wanted the same thing in pinks and black. I really like this layout, its simple but fun. Hope you like this card too!

Birdie Time!

Today is Saturday which means that it is time for more Artful INKables creations! I decided to use one of the new releases from Artful INKables, this one is called A Bird's Song and I just love this birdie! The whole set is wonderful, but as soon as I saw this image I just had to use it first! I decided that this little birdie looked like a Robin Redbreast, I hope you like my take on this card! I really had a lot of fun with this color combination and this ribbon too! Plus, to add a bit of shine I had to use some pewter pearls on the corners of the main image, I am loving the results too! Hope you enjoy my card and have a wonderful weekend! I am looking forward to some down time after a long week.

Wedding Wishes

Last week one of my coworkers asked if I could create a card for her to use for the Wedding she would be attending this weekend. I was finally able to sit down and create this card for her. She said that the Wedding colors were Cream and Brown and that anything I thought would work would make a good card. I have made cards for her in the past and she seems to like my style, so I hope this card will be up to her expectations. I decided to use my Verve stamps and create an elegant card for this Wedding, I really like how simple this card is. I used the stamp set called Wishful Elegance and used not only the sentiment 'Wedding Wishes' but also this great background stamp, I just love the way these stamps stamp solid images! Hope you have a wonderful day, thank you for stopping by!

Artful INKables Release Day!

Welcome to the Artful INKables blog hop! I hope you enjoy the party! We are celebrating the October release at Artful INKables, trust me you are going to love both of the new sets that are coming your way with this release! If you haven't come here from Sherry's blog, then you will want to start at the Artful INKables Blog so you don't miss anything along the way! This time we are changing things around a bit, make sure to comment on everyone's blog, because one lucky commenter somewhere along the way will find some hidden candy! For you chance to be entered into the blog candy draw you have until midnight Sunday, October 18th to comment!

Today I'm showing you a card made with a new set called Down on the Farm! These little animals are all adorable, and always Kristin's sentiments are rockin'! For my main image I picked the cow cutie, I think it's a she, what do you think? Well since it was a farm card I wanted to make a brown cow, this cow sort of reminded me of a cow that used to graze on part of my Grandma's property when I was little. I also picked two shades of green to match the brown cow, and of course added one of the new wonderful sentiments 'What's Moo!'. This set is just so much fun to work with, hope you like it!

Here is the list and order of today's hop in case you missed a spot along the way, you will certianly want to back track, you don't want to miss out!

Bunny Snuggles!

Well, this week is the start of the new My Favorite Things new contest, 'So You Think You Can Stamp'. Each week there will be a challenge that we will need to base a card on, talk about ekk! This weeks challenge was to create something based on the West Coast Swing, so after thinking about it for a long, long time, I created this card. This stamp set is one of my favorites, these bunnies are just too cute to pass up!It is a spinner/suspension card that also rocks. Its sort of hard to photo, but the main image on both sides rock left and right, plus the central piece spins too! I hope you enjoy it, and I went with pink, lots of pink! Plus no card is complete without some bling and ribbon! This is the front when it 'swings' or 'rocks' to the left. I really love how sweet the card turned out, I ahve never made a rocking card so that was a new things for me, and its been a while since I have create a spinner card. Hope you enjoy my entry, I really did enjoy myself with this one!

Some Taylored Expressions

A few weeks ago Taylored Expressions celebrated their first birthday with a huge birthday bash! I know, how exciting! I had started to post the cards I created on that Saturday here on my blog for their 13 challenges, but I have four cards to still share, so I thought I would do that today! I had so much fun playing along! I created this first card based on a great inspirational challenge, I really like the way this card turned out muted and pretty at the same time.
For this second card I not only combined the distressing and button challenge, but I also added the paper tole challenge to this card! Its packed with challenging fun! I had never really distressed a card like this and I had just tons of fun with this, in fact I even got the chance to use some of the great distressing ink I received as a gift too! I relaly love how this cutie bear turned out!

I created this card based on two different challenges from that day! I used not only an inspiration challenge but also I paper pieced! I had so much fun with this card, and it was great to use some of the supplies that I had in my Taylored Expressions Key Ingredients kits, plus some of this ruffled ribbon I ordered a while ago.

For my last card to share with you today, I used more cupcakes! I created this card using both a sketch and an inspiration challenge. I like the bright colors that I used on this one, plus the decrative paper is totally adorable, and it is also something I recevied from a Taylored Expressions Key Ingredients Kit! I hope that you enjoyed my cards for today, they were all so much fun to create! Have a great day!

A Holiday Treat!

For today's card I thought I would share with you my Arful INKables card using Holiday Treats & Tails that I created for LJs swap on SCS! One of my fellow Ho's on SCS is hosting a Sweet Shop Swap, where we are required to make a card that has a bit of something sweet. I thought that this adorable little guy would be perfect! In fact, last weekend I traveled to my friend Michele's house to meet up with both Michele and LJ for a bit of quality time! While there we had a great day, a nice and relaxing sort of day, and of course there was stamping involved. That's where I made this cutie, thank you to Michele for sharing her supplies with me, I really had a great time and I hope you enjoy the results of that get together!

Since today is my posting day for Arful INKables I also wanted to share some news from Arful INKables! It is almost time for our next stamp release, I know! How exciting! The next stamp release from Arful INKables will be on the 15th of this month, so be sure to stop by on Thursday to see what great new stamps are being released! Toy, one of our DT coordinators is also hosting an Artful INKables Swap on SCS, be sure to hop on over and join us, it's sure to be a blast!

For this card I really love this image, and the fun sentiment, which I thought was perfect for a Sweet Shop Swap, 'A Holiday Treat from me to you'! Plus this ribbon is beyond yummy, I bought more from Michele in fact after seeing it! Hope you enjoy today's card, have a great Saturday!

Fall Time with Hanna

Good morning all! I hope you are all having a wonderful week so far! I don’t know about you but this past weekend I received some new stamps and I had to use them right away! Do you get the feeling too? You get new stamps and you need to make something as soon as you get the chance? Well I do, so once my Hanna Stamps order arrived I just had to use this adorable Fall Hanna! I decided that I would use her for one of the swaps I joined on SCS that Audrey is hosting, where we had to try something different. So I picked my technique from a list supplied in the thread and I did a bit of paper piecing! I love paper piecing, but since I do it more often then most I also added some dry embossing using my pumpkin Cuttlebug Embossing Folder and I used my Long Rectangle Nestabilities!

I really like how this image looked after I colored and paper pieced, I really think this Hanna may be my current favorite! I just love her fall look, and she’s more of the ‘old style’ of Hanna’s which I seem to gravitate to more. To finish off this card I pulled out my May Arts Ribbon and decided on some dark brown twill, but it still needed something else so I went though a bunch of my embellishments and decided that brown buttons would be prefect! I really had a lot of fun with this card; I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Have a great day!Stamps: Fall Time from Hanna Stamps; Paper: Whisper White, Spring Moss, Dark Chocolate, Lemon Tart; Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, B14 Light Blue, C1 Cool Grey No. 1, E00 Skin White, E53 Raw Silk, E57 Light Walnut, G24 Willow, RV21 Light Pink, Y13 Lemon Yellow, Y15 Cadmium Yellow; Accessories: Long Rectangle Scalloped and Regular Nestabilties, Pop Dots, Glue Dots, May Arts Twill Ribbon, PTI Dark Chocolate Buttons

For today I am sharing with you the card I created for the current Arful INKables Think INK Challenge! This round the wonderful Lisa Kind is hosting and her challenge is to 'use something that sparkles'! Well, picking just a few things that sparkle was quiet a predicament! So for this challenge I used some wonderfully shiny ribbon, some sparkly rhinestones, some stickles for some garland on this adorable tree, and some glittery decorative paper! What do you think, does this card shine?! I think it does, plus anything having to do with a Christmas tree needs to have a bit of bling! So have you picked up this adorable stamp set yet? Holiday Treats & Tails has so many cute images and wonderful sentiments, I do hope you at least consider purchasing this stamp set, I know you will love these little guys as much as I do! Hope you have a wonderful day!
