ABC for Bugaboo!

Today I am sharing with you my ABC, or Anything But a Card, for Bugaboo Stamps! Each and every Monday is ABC day where a few Design Team members share some of their most recent ABC's with everyone on the Catch the Bug Challenge Blog, today it's my turn and I am so excited! While I was shopping in Micheal's one day I found these great mugs that come with some sticky piece that allows you to attach a photo to any mug! So after I browsed through my fabulous digi's from Bugaboo Stamps I decided to use my Poppi Ice Cream image to spice up this porcelain mug! These penguins that Jodie released a few weeks ago are just perfect for the summer, in fact I will be using another one of these cuties later in the week, so be sure to stop by and see that one too, you will not be disappointed! Have a fabulous day and thank you for coming by today!

My card today uses two great Christmas Kid images, specifically Christmas Boy 2 and Christmas Girl 3. Now, these images are sold seperatly, but in order to get them standing next to each other like they are I used my free photo editing software, gimp, and worked with the png files. That's right I moved the images together in the same file so that they could be standing next to each other then printed the entire image out and started creating my card. I will admit that these Christmas cards have been a bit hard to create, but I do like how this one ended up looking. I used two different sheets of Christmas DP and cute a few squares of them to make the background on this cute image. I did use traditional colors on this one too and I think it works! I do hope you check out what the rest of the Design Team created, you can see all the cards at the Catch the Bug Challenge Blog, but for some more information on the all cards be sure to stop by all our great blogs and check them out.

I do hope you enjoy your weekend, and find a way to get into the Christmas spirit and join us in our challenge! Thanks for stopping by, have a great one!

Bugaboo Stamps Tuesday New Release!

Today is Tuesday, which means that it's time for a brand new release at Bugaboo Stamps! That's right today we are releasing all new images at the Bugaboo Store! For my card today I decided to use one of the new Bobblehead Christmas images, isn't this Santa just perfect for any Christmas card! I colored in this cutie with Copics and then decided that it still needed a bit more, so I added the sponging on the boarder of the Nestability shape I used, I haven't done that in ages, so I think I need a bit more practice, but all the same I like how it came out.

I pulled out my Christmas Stack DP, which has been unloved for a few months now, and got to work. I liked this DP the most, since it looked sort of like a quit, a different take on Christmas, I used this DP as my card inspiration and went with a celery color instead of the typical darker green. I thought that this image needed some liquid applique for that special Santa touch, so with a bit of heat he was ready to go! I hope you enjoyed my card for today, I really had a lot of fun with this one! Be sure to check out the Bugaboo Blog and see the other DTs Members creations with today's new images, you are going to love these images!

Artful INKables Twilight Eclipse Customer and Design Team Blog Hop!

Welcome to our Customer and Design Team Twilight Artful INKables blog hop! Make sure you start at the Artful INKables Blog, so you don't miss a single thing!

To celebrate the release of ECLIPSE today, we're highlighting the Artful INKables Twilight inspired sets: Into the Moonlight, Fictionally Inspired and Epic Tales. Artful INKables also has a set of Vampire Romance Themed Charms available!

For my card today I decided to use two of our fabulous Twilight Stamp sets! I pulled out Fictionally Inspired and Into the Moonlight plus I pulled out my Classic Scalloped Heart Nestabilities to use and match with the sentiment "Look after my heart - I've left it with you". I colored and cut out my main image and then attached it to my scalloped heart, but it didn't look complete so I pulled out my Viva Pearl Pen in the Ice White color and got to work! I added just a bit to each scallop of the heart which I think really makes the card shine. Then to tie it all together I added more Pearl Pen to the sentiment and the corners of my card. I do hope you like what I created for today, I had a lot of fun with it myself!

It's Saturday so you know what that means, it's time for another Artful INKables post! Today I am sharing with you an ATC card that I created using two of our fabulous stamp sets! I pulled out my Paisleys and Peacock stamp set as well as our Bug and Blossom Mandalas, not only do I love these stamp sets but this ATC is also a great example of the current Twilight Challenge we have going on which is to create a red, black, and white creation, and you can use any Artful INKables stamps!

I do hope you like this ATC, I think its fun and bold. In fact I made this ATC for a card swap that I will be swapping out in person at a shoebox swap today! In fact that's what I am doing all day long, participating at a shoebox swap! I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Fairies!

So today is Sunday which means that it's time for another Crafty Ho's Challenge! That's right, a great group of friends of mine, the 'Ho's', created a challenge blog called Crafty Ho's Challenge Blog! Each week on Sunday we share with everyone more creations using the same challenge as inspiration!

So for our challenge this week we challenged everyone to a free for all! That's right, we had the chance to create anything, no rules bar this week! I decided to share a card I created using one of the great sentiments from Paper Make Up Stamps called "Whoever Said Fairies Don't Exist..."! When I first saw this sentiment I just had to get it, but this was my first time inking it up, I really had a lot of fun with this one, I made it pretty girlie too!

Be sure to check out the rest of our great group of Hos, I know their creations will be fabulous!

You are going to love these ladies and all of their creations and I can't wait to see what you create along with us! Hope to see you back here next Sunday for our next challenge! Have a wonderful day all!
