Sweet Faith Flowers

So today is Sunday which means that it's time for another Crafty Ho's Challenge! That's right, a great group of friends of mine, the 'Ho's', created a challenge blog called Crafty Ho's Challenge Blog! Each week on Sunday we share with everyone more creations using the same challenge as inspiration! This week we are challenging you to create a card following the sketch below! Since I was recently named to the Whimsy and Stars Studio Design Team and I just had to play along with one of my new images! For my main image I used this adorable image called Faith Flowers! I thought that I just had to use a lot of bright colors, I am a bit sick of winter, so I thought this was the perfect chance to use some fabulous spring colors. I pulled out my pinks and my yellow and got to work on this oh so sweet image. I had a lot of fun shading in some of the white space around her as well, I think it helps make the image pop out more.

Be sure to check out the rest of our great group of Hos, I know their creations will be fabulous!

You are going to love these ladies and all of their creations and I can't wait to see what you create along with us! Hope to see you back here next Sunday for our next challenge! Have a wonderful day all!

For my card today I used this adorable Clyde image, he is just so darn cute! I love how we have a Get Well image that was released as well, makes him ripe for this challenge. Last time I colored in this cutie I used the colors of green and yellow, but I wanted to try something different so I went with a touch of Red and a Blue on Blue dragon. I really like how I was able to tie it together with this fun ribbon as well, it just seemed to lend itself to this card. I was trying to make a guys card, and well it is some what masculine, but the ribbon messes that all up, oh well. I will get a guys card done one day that I like enough.
