Pretty nice sized list if I do say so myself. I know this Hop is going to be a blast! Now on to the details of my card creation for today! When it came to starting my card today it was just so hard to decide which stamp to use! I ended up using the new Hanna Stamps set Detective Hanna, I just love how snazzy she looks when she is in pursuit of a mystery! I thought she would like one of the old time detective if I used brown as an accent color and a darker olive green as a main color. Not really my typical colors, but I think that this stamp is perfect for the feel of this card. I really had a lot of fun with this card and her overall look, its a bit hard to see but there are foot prints that Hanna is following, hopefully they will lead her to the truth! Hope you enjoyed my card for today's hop, I know I had a blast with it!

Now its time to head on over to the next place on the hop, Joycelyn! I am sure she will have something amazing to share with you! Enjoy the rest of your journey, I know its going to be all sorts of fun!

Fall Time with Hanna

Good morning all! I hope you are all having a wonderful week so far! I don’t know about you but this past weekend I received some new stamps and I had to use them right away! Do you get the feeling too? You get new stamps and you need to make something as soon as you get the chance? Well I do, so once my Hanna Stamps order arrived I just had to use this adorable Fall Hanna! I decided that I would use her for one of the swaps I joined on SCS that Audrey is hosting, where we had to try something different. So I picked my technique from a list supplied in the thread and I did a bit of paper piecing! I love paper piecing, but since I do it more often then most I also added some dry embossing using my pumpkin Cuttlebug Embossing Folder and I used my Long Rectangle Nestabilities!

I really like how this image looked after I colored and paper pieced, I really think this Hanna may be my current favorite! I just love her fall look, and she’s more of the ‘old style’ of Hanna’s which I seem to gravitate to more. To finish off this card I pulled out my May Arts Ribbon and decided on some dark brown twill, but it still needed something else so I went though a bunch of my embellishments and decided that brown buttons would be prefect! I really had a lot of fun with this card; I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Have a great day!Stamps: Fall Time from Hanna Stamps; Paper: Whisper White, Spring Moss, Dark Chocolate, Lemon Tart; Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, B14 Light Blue, C1 Cool Grey No. 1, E00 Skin White, E53 Raw Silk, E57 Light Walnut, G24 Willow, RV21 Light Pink, Y13 Lemon Yellow, Y15 Cadmium Yellow; Accessories: Long Rectangle Scalloped and Regular Nestabilties, Pop Dots, Glue Dots, May Arts Twill Ribbon, PTI Dark Chocolate Buttons

Back to School Hanna Style!

This month Hanna Stamps is hosting another great monthly challenge, this time to use the primary colors to create a card! I thought this School Sophie was just perfect for just that! I wasn't able to find any paper with just Red, Yellow, and Blue, but this paper is so very close...I do hope you like it! I also created this card for a swap in the forums being hosted by my girl Deej! As with most swaps there needed to be at least two layers and one embellishment, super simple! No other requirements besides that the cards had to feature a Riley or Sophie stamp so I dug out my newest Hanna Stamps and picked this cutie! I bought this adorable stamp before she was released while at the HPC in Ohio, Kristi was sweet enough not only to join us and bring us some goodies to purchase but to also show us the newest stamps before they were released! It was so nice to finally meet Kristi after all this time! I've been chatting with Kristi off and on through various stamping places, and when Deej said that Kristi would be joining us I was thrilled! She was even better in person then I could have imagined, hopefully we will meet up again soon! Hope you have a great day! Thanks for stopping by!

Hanna's Beach Body!

A fellow 'Ho' Deej, who I got the immense pleasure of meeting at the HPC recently, hosted a great Beach swap on SCS. When she posted the details I just had to sign up, I mean I had just ordered my newest Hanna Stamps set at the time and I needed an excuse to ink this bad boy up! I wanted to use some bright colors, and I decided that these two images from the set would be perfect together for a bright and fun summery card! I also wanted to use some fun embellishments, so I pulled out some tropical primas and buttons, I mean you can't have a naked flower! Every flower has to have a center and I love using buttons as my center! Now I ran out of the yellow flowers, so I completed the set with blue flowers. I hope you like today's creation, it was so much fun to create using this set. Have a great day!

Hanna Time!

This week Hanna Stamps hosted their December release and with any great release there is challengs involved! In fact there are two Hanna Stamps challenges for this months release both of which I got the chance to particpate in this weekend. The first challenge was to create something with stitching on it, now I've only done faux stitching before and I wanted to try out my little sewing machine. After using it, the mini provo craft sewing machine, I've decided I need a better one, in fact I have now asked for a paper crafting sewing machine for Christmas. It wouldn't work! Every time I pushed the button it would either snag or run the wrong way so I ended up cranking the needle myself so that it would stitch for me, which took forever. Thank goodness it ended up working alright. I used the stamp set Ski Bunny which I just love, she is now one of my favorite Hanna Stamps sets.
he second challenge was create a card with pink, and lots of it! I realized I had yet to ink up my Sleep Time Riley for this card, I looked at this stamp as a Sophie stamp, I would feel bad if I dressed Riley in pink. I like the pink and brown combination with this stamp, and I had to add some glitter! I used my frosted lace stickles to attach the pink dew drop and to make Sophie's slippers and hat bling. Hope you like today's cards! Have a great Sunday everyone!

Hanna Fun

I just realized today that I had yet to share a few of the cards that I created for Hanna Stamps birthday celebration. The first card was created for a button challenge at the release party, and I just had to play along. I have always had buttons but only recently I started using them, I was saving them for some reason and I finally opened up one of the packages I had to create this fun cooking card. For the little bows I used some silver cord I had from SU! and threaded it through each of the button holes and tied a little bow. I love how it came out, it looks so cute and seems to work perfectly with this card.
The second card was an inspiration challenge where we were asked to use something in our home for inspiration. My mom has this beautiful heart shaped wreath that she added some dried flowers to a few years ago that now hangs in the dinning room and I decided to use the wreath for inspiration to create this card. I used the browns and pinks from the wreath and the style to create this card. I even got to use my Martha Stewart edge punch on something and I am thrilled with the results!

Happy World Card Making Day!

Have you seen all of the giveaways today!? OMG, there are things going on all over the place. I hope you have a wonderful World Card Making Day! I have been playing with all sorts of stamps this week while I have been home sick, so I thought I would share with you one of my Hanna Stamps creations from this week. This week marked the one year nniversary at Hanna Stamps and Kristi and the entire Design Team hosted challenges, blog candy, and all sorts of fun. I was able to participate in all of the card challenges. This card I created for the challenge to use two embellishments, I used only two, but I really loved the stamp and went for it. Hope you enjoy my creation!

Hanna Travels

Last night was the Hanna Stamps release party, I had plans of grandeur in creating a wonderful card for the challenge that was issued, but I ran out of time! I got home last night at 6:40 and had 20 minutes to create and post a card, oh my! I pulled out the colors for the challenge and got to coloring this Traveling Hanna image, which is pretty cute, only to find that my camera wasn’t working! EEEK! I had no idea what the problem was, before I knew it there was no more time and my camera was not cooperating. I went down and had dinner only to come back and find that I had been charging the camera battery and didn’t replace it in the camera…silly me! So by the time the party started I was able to take a picture and post the card I created, I love how I colored in this Hanna, but I don’t like the base at all, its just too simple and plain, but I had to try to create a card to be done in time. The party was a lot of fun and I ordered a few stamps, I mean how could I not order a stamp or two with those images!

Cleaning Hanna

I ordered five Hanna stamps set with the last release, with that special going on how could I resist? I picked up two previously released stamp sets and three new ones, making this cute Hanna cleaning set. I thought I was going to hate it....I mean a card with a cute girl cleaning on it, I thought it was a little wrong....but I gave it a shot. I love how this card turned out, not my typical card, but defintly fun! Doesn't this card look cute? I thought the paper I used looked like wall paper and works well with the image. I have a few birtday cards I am creating using the cupcake set, then some with the PaperTrey Birthday sets....tune in soon for more!

Hanna's Back!

So Jana posted a card challenge where the winner will be given the new PaperPretties stamp set that is not yet released, so how could I resist? The challenge was to use light yellow, light blue, and apricot. I decided to try the Kick Stand sketch I have seen in a few places recently, and I love it! The colors are subtle and fun, with a little bit of embellishments, the eyelets. I was going to use some ribbon on this card, but I couldn't find anywhere to put it....lol. I used the scalloping technique that Beate posted about, plus the colors in the colors in the challenge and a fun sketch, all sorts of things! Enjoy ladies, I love this Hanna Stamp, don't you?!

Mojo Monday....On Wednesday!

Ladies today I sat down and created a card from the wonderful challenge entitled Mojo Monday from Julee's Blog Poetic Artistry. If you have never stopped by Julee's blog you are missing out, months ago I was a host to one of the VSN challenges and all the hostesses participated in a little secret swap, I was SUPER lucky to have Julee be my Secret Hostess and the goodies she sent my way were amazing. I have yet to use the cute little post it pad she sent my way, it is honestly too pretty to write on, I kid you not. I have been reading Julee's blog and watching her Mojo Mondays and today is the day I try to keep up with her challenges. If you did not know Julee is the owner of Verve Visual stamps, a wonderful company that has their own line of acrylic stamps. I also dug through my goodies to find that I had not yet inked several of my Hanna Stamps sets, so today's challenge entry features Perfect Package.I used paper from one of my past PaperPretties boxes, I just love this paper. Both the background paper and the small stripe behind the Hanna image is from Crate Paper and has some really simple but stunning designs. I also used some Prima flowers with Bella Bauble centers. Enjoy!

Hanna Stamps!

This is not part of the 12 Days of Bellas, but I just had to share this cute Hanna card I created. I have been eyeing my Rain Day stamp set for a while but I haven't had the chance to ink her up until now. I went for the polka-dot theme....can you tell? This ribbon is what I have left over from the Christmas cards I created for my boyfriend's family to send out this year, I think it went perfectly with this paper pierced creation. I used my Garnet marker from Copics to color over some of the fun decorative paper to give the image the two tone effect. I added white as an accent, and some silver eyelets to brighten things up. Hope you enjoy my Rainy Day creation!

Hanna Stamps

I have now purchased both of the currently released Hanna Stamps, but last night I realized that I had yet to ink them up! Now we can't have that now can we....so I pulled out all sorts of things to make two cards with the October release and they were so much fun to create!

I think this set is fun, just plain fun! I can't wait to purchase the new Hanna set that will be released tomorrow, hopefully it will be as fun to play with as this adorable Christmas set is!

In other news my WCMD sets arrived today! I plan on inking up Spiral Bouquet from PaperTrey as soon as I can, it is just screaming at me to be inked!
