Digital Delights Challenge - Make the Cut!

It's Thursday which means that it is time for a new challenge at the Digital Delights Challenge Blog! This week our challenge is 'Make the Cut' - Use die cuts, punches or decorative scissors!

I used the darling image Flower Power Basket of Daisies image, I simply love this image! She makes me smile when I look at her cute little hat and basket full of flowers. I thought that the perfect touch for this challenge and image would be to add lots of flower accents so I created my own flowers using some dies from MFT. I think they ended up looking so similar to the Daisies in her little basket. It's a bit hard to see in this shot, but I also added some Smooch Illuminate to her dress, hat and the flowers in her basket. I think it adds just a bit more dimension to the card.

Crafty Sentiments Designs - Colorful!

Today kicks off a brand new challenge at the Crafty Sentiments Designs Challenge! This week Diane is hosting the Team "A" and sharing with you my creation for the challenge, "Colorful"!

I had so much fun with this week's challenge! I decided to use one of these new images from our new line of Harriet's! This darling little girl is called Harriet - Lilly and Butterfly! I was trying to add in lots of colors to my card so I decided to use this designer paper from Simply Stories called Urban Travelers. There are so many colors in this line it just seemed perfect for this challenge plus I pulled colors out of the papers for Harriet herself!

Simply Betty Facebook Group Challenge - Bad to the Gills!

Today I have a chance to share with you a creation I made using the fabulous freebie image for the Simply Betty Stamps FB Group Challenge for July! Each month Betty at Simply Betty Stamps allows members of the FB Group to enter a contest using a freebie image, how could you go wrong with playing along?!

This month we got the choice between a 'good' mermaid and a 'bad mermaid' to use for the challenge. I kept going back and forth about which one to ask for, but I eventually picked Spike! The challenge is Good vs Evil, so create something using your selected image to be good, or in my case 'evil'! I went with this color combination of blues, oranges and purples. Not sure what drove me to these colors, but I think it really works well with this image. I know I wouldn't want to mess with her!

Fab 'n' Funky Challenge - Anything that Looks Like Summer!

Sassy Studio Designs August Release Blog Hop!

Today is the Sassy Studio Designs August Release Anniversary Blog Hop! That's right, this weekend we are releasing all sorts of amazing images!
