Crafty Ho's Bling, Lush and Fab!
So today is Sunday which means that it's time for another Crafty Ho's Challenge! That's right, a great group of friends of mine, the 'Ho's', created a challenge blog called Crafty Ho's Challenge Blog! Each week on Sunday we share with everyone more creations using the same challenge as inspiration!
So for our challenge this week we had to create a card that 'bring out the Bling, Lush Ribbons, and Fab Florishes! Sounds like a lot of fun, right?! I got the chance to ink up this amazing fairy stamp I have from Paper Make Up Stamps called Melody Fairy! I love how sweet these fairies are, in fact I have a bunch of them but I just don't share those cards I create often enough. I had a lot of fun with this one, and I really love how shiny this one came out, plus I got to use all sorts of fun embellishments like this amazing ribbon and my new Viva pens!
You are going to love these ladies and all of their creations and I can't wait to see what you create along with us! Hope to see you back here next Sunday for our next challenge! Have a wonderful day all!

We are all sharing with you our cards for this color challenge, make a card using the colors red, kraft and green, then you will have until June 1st to try this one out for yourself! For my project today I decided to ink up Right on Par! I figured that since golf outfits are always a bit interesting that the red and green gingham would actually work for the gold theme, and it is still manly for the most part, I used one of my favorite layouts for my card as well. It's some bright spring fun! You will notice that we are featuring two great stamp sets this week, and not only are Right on Par and Coffee Cool being featured, but if you decide to order either of these featured stamp sets this week they are both on sale for 35% off the regular price! So after you get your inspiration for the week, you may just want to hop over to the Paper Pretties Store and see where is takes you! I can't wait to see what the other ladies decided to create, check out the other Pretties Girl's creations:

We are all sharing with you our cards for this inspiration challenge, make a card using your blog banner for inspiration, then you will have until May 25th to try this one out for yourself! For my project today I decided to ink up Beach Bum, but I got to tell you that my blog banner is not much to look at, so I decided to use my blog color scheme since my banner is really non-existent! I also decided that yellow would be a great contrast to my current color scheme so I used it to make Cooper's swim trunks and inter tube! You will notice that we are featuring two great stamp sets this week, and not only are Beach Bum and Look Out World being featured, but if you decide to order either of these featured stamp sets this week they are both on sale for 35% off the regular price! So after you get your inspiration for the week, you may just want to hop over to the Paper Pretties Store and see where is takes you! Inky Impressions Challenge #36!
Good morning all! Today I get to share with you the card I created for the new Inky Impressions Challenge, number 36 to be exact, which is to create a card using 2 of the items that spell out flowers!
F - Faux stitching or Flowers
L - Lace
O - Circles, brads, or pearls
W - Watercoloring
E - Embossing
R - Ripping, Distressing, or Tearing
S - Sparkle
Today the Inky Impressions Design Team will be sharing our creations for the current Inky Impressions Challenge! For my card today I used , Flower Lili! Picking from the list of items to create with was so hard to do, but I eventually decided to go with Lace and Pearls! I got this fabulous ribbon from Michele (I love this stuff!) and these pearls from a swap, they are from Basic Grey! I decided that if I was going to use Basic Grey Pearls, I needed to match it with some of their amazing papers, so I went with this dark pink paper from the Lemonade DP and the dotted background from Bittersweet!
I hope you like my take on the current Inky Impressions Challenge, be sure to join in on all the fun over at the Inky Impressions Challenge Blog and see what the rest of the Inklettes have created, they are sure to impress! I can’t wait to see what you create! Have a wonderful day all!

Blast from the Past Blog Hop with Taylored Expressions!
Today Taylored Expressions is hosting the Blast from the Past Blog Hop! Talk about all sorts of fun, all sorts of fabulous people are taking the times to showcase some of the wonderful stamp sets from Taylored Expressions, but only the stamp sets from the Past! All the details can be found at the Taylored Expressions Blog!
For my card today I decided to use my Chillax stamp set for my card today, its such a fun set that I wanted to use lots of bright colors. I started sorting through my DP and found my Lemonade DP from Basic Grey and thought that it had the same sort of feeling in it to match this fun and bright stamp set! I couldn't decide if I should make the drinks lemonade or limeade, so I made one of each! I also just HAD to use this fun umbrella stamp, those umbrella drinks are always the best, if I drink which is pretty rare then that's the kind of drink I tend to enjoy. I know its a bit matchy matchy, but I really love how this came out!
Your next stop on the hop is Barbara Anders, I know that she will have something amazing to share with you! I hope you enjoyed my creation for today and enjoy the rest of the hop! I know I loved my part in this Blast from the Past!
Stamps: Chillax from Taylored Expressions; Paper: Whisper White, Green Galore, Basic Grey Lemonade DP; Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, C1 Cool Grey No. 1, R37 Carmine, RV11 Pink, Y13 Lemon Yellow, Y15 Cadmium Yellow, YG23 New Leaf; Accessories: Pop Dots, Smooch Illuminate, Kaiser Self Adhesive Rhinestones, Glittery Ribbon, Large Scalloped and Regular Circle Nestabilities, Nestabilities Labels Two

Each winner will get to select one of the new sets released today PLUS you will get a one time use only 10% off coupon at Artful Inkables!
Today, I’m showing you a card made with a new set called Aquatic Fantasy! I totally love this Sea inspired set, the main image is this fabulous mermaid and it comes with a total of 15 stamps, that include four super cute sentiments and all sorts of images to create a great under the sea scene! If you can believe it or not I used eight different stamps on this card to create this scene, it really was a lot of fun to make all these stamps work together, this set really is designed to create a fabulous scene right before your eyes! I went with a color scheme to match this fun paper I found at the store, it shows lots of large and pretty shells which reminds me of the sea, I also used Bermuda Bay to accent that color, it really makes the whole thing pop I think.
The next stop on the hop is Joy's Blog! Be sure to hop all the way to the end and keep commenting, you never know, it might be you that gets to win one of these super cute stamp sets! Hope you liked today's creations and I do hope that you enjoy the rest of the May Artful Inkables Release Blog Hop!

A Little Lili!
Good afternoon all! I meant to post this card yesterday, but I never got the chance so I thought I would post it today instead! I used this cute and summery Inky Impressions image, Lili's Ice Cream, but also I wanted to play along with the current Color Throwdown Challenge and I wanted to try a Friday Sketchers Challenge as well! This week the Color Throwdown Challenge is to use the colors Baja Breeze, So Saffron, Olive and Kraft, what a fun color combination! I thought the Friday Sketchers Challenge had a lot of layers, so it really was a challenge, but I had a lot of fun with this! I used some of my PTI DPs and added some solid card stock as well to try and balance the card, It still seem liked it was missing something so I added some bling, which always helps!
What great challenges to play along with, plus I got to spend some more time inking up my Inky Impressions cuties, which is always a fabulous past time! I hope you have a wonderful weekend all! Be sure to come by tomorrow, you never know what might be posted next!
Stamps: Lili's Ice Cream from Inky Impressions; Paper: Whisper White, Kraft, Lemon Tart, Bermuda Bay, PTI Bitty Dots, PTI In Bloom; Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, E00 Skin White, E35 Chamois, BG72 Ice Ocean, RV23 Pure Pink, Y11 Pale Yellow, YG95 Pale Olive; Accessories: Circle Cutter, Kaiser Self Adhesive Rhinestones

Crafty Ho Sketching!
So today is Sunday which means that it's time for another Crafty Ho's Challenge! That's right, a great group of friends of mine, the 'Ho's', created a challenge blag called Crafty Ho's Challenge Blog!So for our challenge this week we had to create a card following the above sketch! Now this one was really hard for me since every image I wanted to use was too big for the four squares, so I cheated and went with 6 squares. I picked this super cute Angelica's Heart Socks stamp from Inky Impressions! I received this stamp last month and I have been dying to ink her up, so today is her day! I found this simple but cute DP while I was at Stamping Around New Hampshire and for some reason it reminded me of this stamp, so it's been patiently waiting for this inking too! I had a lot of fun with this sketch, its so sweet that I really had a great time working on this one!
Be sure to check out the rest of our great group of Hos, I know their creations will be fabulous!
You are going to love these ladies and all of their creations and I can't wait to see what you create along with us! Hope to see you back here next Sunday for our next challenge! Have a wonderful day all!

A Recipe for Cards
Today is another Saturday, which means that it is time again to share with you an Artful INKables creation! It's a great time of the month at Artful INKables right now, this coming Monday, May 17th marks our fabulous May stamp release and you are going to love it! Be sure to stop by Monday to see our newest release, I know I am pretty excited about it already! Okay, on to my post for today! I am sharing with you my Think INK Challenge creation!
This time, our challenge is to follow a recipe that calls for using 3 buttons, 2 pieces of ribbon, and a circle! Trying to pick where to start was hard, but once I had my stamp set I got to work! I decided to create a purse and matching card set using my Pond Friends stamp set, I just love this little fishy in the stamp set, it's just so darn cute! I picked a brown and orange color combination and started creating. I had never made one of these sets before but I simply loved my end result when I finished it all! I may have cheated, since I used both orange ribbon and silver cord, but I think that counts as two pieces of ribbon, right?! I do hope you like it, I really did have a lot of fun with this! Have a fabulous weekend, and be sure to keep dropping by, all sorts of great things are coming this way!
Stamps: Pond Friends from Artful INKables; Paper: Whisper White, Dark Chocolate, Summer Sunrise, Cosmo Cricket Nutmeg DP; Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, BG01 Aqua Blue, YR12 Loquat; Accessories: Crop-A-Dile, Sticky Strip, Summer Sunrise Grosgrain Ribbon, Silver Cord, Glue Dots, Large Scalloped and Regular Circle Nestabilities, Brads, Summer Sunrise and Dark Chocolate Buttons, Scor-Pal

Now it's time to send you on to Jessie's blog, I know that she will be rocking her stamps like she always does so enjoy! I hope you you enjoy the rest of the hop, I know I will be! Have a fabulous day!
Stamps: Aim for the Clouds from There She Goes; Paper: Whisper White, Spring Green, DCWV Spring Stack DP; Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, BD10 Cool Shadow, E31 Brick Beige, G12 Sea Green; Accessories: Large Circle Nestabilities, Pop Dots, Sat Ribbon, Glue Dot
Today I am sharing with you my card using the Aim for the Clouds stamp set from There She Goes. I had so much fun with this set, I wanted to use one of the images that I don't see used with this set so I didn't go for the hot air balloons that seem to be all over the place, instead I used this beautiful scene complete with mountains, clouds and rolling hills, its so calming! I wanted to use bright green on this one and I thought that white would make it pop. I love how it turned out, I do hope you like it as well! This set is quickly becoming one of my favorites!
I also volunteered to create a second card for the Mother of all Blog Hops, and I picked Rejuvenate, this set is so much fun and so relaxing! I decided that I wanted to do something with dimension, so I stamped the towel image three times and layered the parts of each stack of towels so that each stack looked like it really was towels. It was super simple, and I really like the results on this, a soft but sweet card! I hope you like this one too!Now it's time to send you on to Jessie's blog, I know that she will be rocking her stamps like she always does so enjoy! So for our challenge this week we are all creating cards that use shades of blue and neutrals! Super simple, but a lot of fun! For my card this week I pulled out my cutttlebug and my Pond Friend's stamp set from Artful INKables, this card was just so much fun to make! I am loving this little fishy image, so playing on that I pulled out my cuttlebug embossing folder called Spots and Dots, I thought it looked a bit like bubbles, then I cut out my main image using Labels 4 and added some ribbon and rhinestones!
Be sure to check out the rest of our great group of Hos, I know their creations will be fabulous!

Pond Friends!
It's Saturday so you know what that means! It's time for another Artful INKables creation! Today I am sharing with you the card I created for our current Think INK challenge! Our current Think INK Challenge is being issued by Alicia and the challenge is to choose an old creation and update it! Talk about a challenge, it took me a little while to figure this one out, but I eventually picked this old card to update! I like this look when I made the card, and its still nice, but is seems a bit plain to me now looking at it, so I decided to update it and create a new card using the same layout and such, but using the stamp set Pond Friends! This stamp set is just so cute that I thought maybe it would brighten up this dark look, so I went with light blue, dark blue, and green for this card! So, overall I like my update to this dark card, it's spring now, and almost summer even and I just needed a bright and sunny card! I hope you like what I had to share with you today, and remember there is still time to play along with the current Think INK challenge so head on over to the Artful INKables Blog and play along!

MFT Guest Designer Contest!
This month for the My Favorite Things Guest Designer contest is to create a card using fabric or felt! I had chatted with my friend Michele about this great sticky felt she had found at her local Michale's, so last night on the way home I stopped and picked up some, I found it right in the kids craft section and there were all sorts of colors to pick from! I decided on a few, I picked up a red, pink, black, white, and this soft sky blue. When I got home and looked at all my stamps I just wanted to ink up one of my Joleen stamps from My Favorite Things, this cutie was part of her debut and she badly needed some inky love.
I pulled out my cuttlebug and got to work trying out these new fabulous DIE-nymaics! I received this one in my VIP kit about 2 weeks ago now and I am so thrilled with it! I wasn't too sure about what sort of 'sandwich' to use for this, but my typical die layering worked perfectly! The cut was so clean and crisp on my sticky felt, made my day! I also wanted to use this new punch I picked up at the store, a Martha Stewart corner 'around the page' punch, it really looks cute in the corners! In fact I thought it needed a bit more so I added some bling to the center of the flowers, and I love how it turned out.
I do hope you like what I am sharing with you today, I had a lot of fun with this card. I am hoping that I get more chances to ink up my unloved stamps, so many stamps and not enough time! Have a great day all!
