12 Days of Christmas at Bugaboo! Day #12!

For my card I used this fun image, Christmas words - noel! What a fun set of Christmas words Jodie created, and when I was deciding what song I wanted to use for my inspiration I saw this image and HAD to use it and the song, "The First Noel". I wanted a card that used some different colors and I had a lot of fun with this paper from Echo Park called Holly Jolly Christmas.

Paper Pretties Monday Challenge - Use Ribbon!

Welcome to our seventeenth Paper Pretties Monday Challenges! That's right! Each week we will be releasing 2 new images PLUS hosting a challenge so that you can play right along with us too!

This week our challenge is to use the theme of "Use Ribbon"! Just create any project that makes you think of the song 12 Days of Christmas!

For my card this week I decided to use the image Oh Tiny Tree! I think this tree is just too cute, I have totally seen trees like this, they aren't about over doing things, they are about the simple Christmas'...simple sounds good! I used this fun red ribbon with matching self adhesive rhinestones!

Today the line from The 12 Days of Christmas is, "On the tenth day of Christmas my true love gave to me ten lords-a-leaping..." Today's challenge is to make a project using the theme "Masculine"!

For my card I used this fun image, Old world santa 1! I wanted to create a masculine card that worked well with the holidays and I think that this card does just that. I used darker colors and some darker designer paper that would complement the tones I had picked in the image itself.

Santa Baby at Bugaboo!

It is Saturday which means that it is time for another Bugaboo Challenge! This week we are challenging you to create an a card or project with the theme "Santa Baby"!

If you participate in the challenge you have a chance to win the following prizes:

For my card today I used Knobby Knees Christmas - Stars image, isn't she adorable! I paired her with this fun plaid paper, some rhinestones, and grosgrain ribbon. I think she is just too cute!

Paper Makeup Stamps Winter Blog Hop!

Today is the day, that's right today marks the Winter Blog Hop at Paper Makeup Stamps! Each Design Team member has created something fabulous using one of our fabulous winter stamps, perfect for the Winter feel in the air! Plus, this month not only are we hopping with our great makeup Artists, but we are also joined by some of our Digi Makeup Artists and some of PMS's greatest Fans! For my project for today I created this fun calendar page. A few friends of mine are each making a few pages in the calendar and I took January and what better for a January calendar then using a winter theme! I picked this adorable image from Paper Makeup Stamps called Holly Fairy! I used this fun pink metallic ribbon from May Arts and paper pieced this adorable Holly's outfit with some paper from 3 Bugs in a Rug. I really do like how this all came together.

Inky Impressions Challenge - Use Ribbon!

Good morning all! Today I get to share with you the card I created for the new Inky Impressions Challenge! This week is our challenge at the Inky Impressions Challenge Blog is to use Ribbon, simple and fun all in one!

Today the Inky Impressions Design Team will be sharing our creations for the current Inky Impressions Challenge! For my card today I decided to ink up Marisa's Sleigh Ride, she is perfect for the cold weather and impending winter. I simply love the colors in this paper and using pink and light blue seemed to work perfectly with this image as well.

YFor my card today I decided to use Deck the Boughs. I thought this adorable ornament and branch would make for the perfect holiday card and I used this sweet paper from Bo Bunny called Father Christmas, I just love the rich colors in this paper pad.

Today's challenge is to use "an Animal on your card"! For my card I used the fun image Make it Snappy - Reindeer Trio. I figured not only would this image be an animal, but it is also 3 animals, prefect for the 3rd day if I do say so myself. I used my Lily Bee Design Jingle designer paper, I had never heard of this company until I found this 6x6 pad at my LSS and I am sure glad I did!

Today's challenge is to use the theme "Love"! For my card I used this super sweet image Valentines Baskets - Monkey. I know this has a bit of a Valentine's Day feel, but I thought the use of this fabulous snowflake paper from Echo Park would help with any confusion. This card turned out pretty monochromatic, but I think that it really works with what I was trying to create.

Oldie But Goodie Day at Bugaboo!

Today is Thursday, which means that today is Oldie But Goodie day at Bugaboo Stamps! Now Oldie But Goodie Day means that team members are sharing creations they made using stamps that are not new, but those good ol' stamps that are a part of the Bugaboo Stamps collection!

For my card today I decided to use this fun image, Bugaboo Brats Ballerina! This sweet girlie image, makes me smile, heck all of the Bugaboo Brats make me smile!I also decided to play along with the current Ribbon Carousel Challenge which was to use Red, Craft and Brown. I also used this fabulous 1" Red Grosgrain/Satin Edge Ribbon that I received as part of my Ribbon Carousel monthly ribbon kit!
