For my card today I am featuring the stamp set 'Baby Boris'! I simply love this little guy, he's just such a happy baby! The two teeth in his grin makes me smile even more and I just love how he has these two tiny horns growing out of the back of his head, if you look quickly enjoy you might not even notice he's a monster at all. I also wanted to play along with some of the current challenges that are going on right now, so I pulled up two of my favorite challenges and got to work! For today's card I used the current Mojo Monday Sketch and the current Color Throwdown Challenge! I love the paper that Tammy used for her inspiration and I have been wanting to cut into it since I came home with me and for this card I finally opened it up! I picked this fun dotted and stripped paper, I thought the colors would be a lot of fun with a baby monster. I also followed the Mojo Monday Sketch, but I removed the circle from the sketch, I really liked it, but none of the sentiments I had in mind would work with it so I omitted it all together.

I hope you enjoyed my card today, these Monsters are just the cutest! Thank you so much for stopping by and enjoy the rest of the Paper Makeup Stamps Blog Hop!

Bugaboo is Sponsoring Cardmadfaries Digi Days!

Good morning! Have you heard the news at Bugaboo Stamps? We are now sponsoring all sorts of companies AND swapping our DT members with them! So today I am playing along with Cardmadfaries Digi Days Challenge Blog!

Their current challenge is to use lots of layers, and I did just that with this adorable image Zac!

I wanted to create a fun and brightly colored buy card, but I also wanted it to be more of a teen card then a kid card. I pulled my designer paper out and i thought that my Out of the Blue paper from My Mind's Eye would work well with this rocker, then from that paper I pulled out a few colors that I thought worked well together. I also used my ticket corner punch and some chevron ribbon from May Arts. I had a lot of fun with this card!

Have a great day and thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed what you saw!

Remembering 9-11

I can still not believe that it has been 10 years since the attack happened on the World Trade Center. Were you ever there? Did you get the privileged to enjoy the New York City skyline from the observation deck in the Twin Towers? I did get such a chance when I was in middle school with one of the volunteer groups I was a part of, I don't recall specifics but I remember looking out over the city and being amazed at everything around me. I went back many times after that trip but never again went inside the towers. Since the attacks I have been to that spot of downtown more times then I can count, I have seen it destroyed, I have seen it being built back up, and I can not wait to see it in the glory that it will be, a memorial for such a tragic event.

Today marks 10 years, and Bugaboo Stamps is honoring today with a freebie image, I think Jodie did a stunning job on this image. I think it says a lot in just a few lines and I hope that no matter what happens, you never forget those that fell that day and those that took it upon themselves to save others and help in any way they could.

Thank you for stopping by today, I hope you remember, I know I always will.

For my card today I used this adorable Wee Ones Birthday Boy and I had so much fun with him! I used the colors combination of blue and yellow and added some dots! Plus I had to use punches so I pulled out my corner rounder punch, which sits right in front of me when I make cards but rarely gets used, and my scalloped border punch and got punching! I also added some half pearls in blue again to match the papers.

I hope you enjoyed my creation for today, I can't wait to see what you create for this weeks challenge! Have a fabulous weekend all!
