Today we are kicking off a new challenge at Riley and Company!
Every other week we share a creation for our challenges and it's always
a blast! This week I am actually hosting our Riley and Company Challenge which is to create a card with 'Beach/Fun in the Sun'!
For my card I decided to use one my older favorite stamps, Hula Sophie.
Hula always reminds me of the Beach and people having fun in the sun. The grass skirt is always fun to watch, in fact years ago I had a hula skirt myself, it was part of one of my birthday parties when I was younger. I am an August birthday gal so my parties were usually at a pool or outdoor fun in the sun, hula included! Of course I had a Luau one year, and it was a blast! I found this great wave designer series paper in my supplies and just had to pair this stamp and paper together!
Thank you for stopping by and checking out our new challenge, be sure to
come back again soon to see what I create next. Also, stop by the Riley and Company Blog to play along as well!

Riley and Company Challenge - Orange and Purple!
Today we are kicking off a new challenge at Riley and Company!
Every other week we share a creation for our challenges and it's always
a blast! This week Heather is hosting our Riley and Company Challenge which is to create a card with 'Orange and Purple'!
For my card I decided to use a stamp that always makes me smile, Showgirl Sophie . I have had this stamp in my collection since the Vacation Riley line came out and I am so glad that this stamp is finally seeing some ink! When I ordered this stamp my plan was to create a scrapbook page layout for my Girls Trip to Las Vegas, needless to say the page has yet to be created, but inking up this stamp is a step in the right direction. I think this Showgirl Sophie really pops in these colors, in fact this pairing may be too tame for a showgirl, I don't really know. I love the touch of bling to finish her off as well.
Thank you for stopping by and checking out our new challenge, be sure to come back again soon to see what I create next. Also, stop by the Riley and Company Blog to play along as well!
