For my card today I used the simply stunning new stamp, Angelica the Bride. I think that this image is beyond gorgeous and really has so many intricate details, I didn't know where to start with this card. I ended up creating this card for a Wedding I will be attending in June. The colors for the Wedding are Pink and Blue so I used that as my stepping off point for this card. I used these lovely flowers that are all available in the Inky Impressions Store, they really compliment this image so nicely. I outlined the entire image in a light pink after I finished coloring and it seems to give the image a soft pink hue that works well. I also used some frost smooch which is a bit hard to see, but the entire dress, train and veil all have small glitter on them.

Be sure to head on over to Inky Impressions Challenge Blog for our last stop on today's new release blog hop!

Bugaboo Stamps - Tutorial - Glubers How To!

Today is Wednesday at Bugaboo Stamps, which means that one DT member is sharing a tutorial today! Guess what....that DT member is me today! That's right today I am sharing with you a Tutorial on How to Use Glubers! I know, what now? If you haven't seen them before Glubers are these awesome GIANT Glue Dots that are super sticky and a great way to make fun embellishments. So, let me take you through step by step on how to use them! The package comes with directions, but sometimes it is easier to see someone lay it all out for you step by step.

You Will Need:1 Gluber any size (I used the smallest one I have - 2")
Ribbon (at least a yard, just in case)
Scissors
A Center Embellishment, I used a Yellow Button

Step #1:
Cut and Remove your Gluber from the package.

Step #2:Peel away the thinner top layer of acetate, you can easily tell which is the base and which is just a top protective layer. Fold the end of your ribbon under slightly and attach it to your Gluber, remember this stuff is very sticky so be careful.
Step #3:
Begin folding and pressing the ribbon onto the adhesive. I push down, fold over, and then push down again. Continue until you complete an entire ring around the adhesive. Then make a cut in the ribbon and try to blend it in or line it up nicely.
Step #4:
Begin the second row, starting the same way the you did with the first row. Bend the ribbon edge under the top and stick it down continuing in the same manner as before push down, fold, push down again. Until you complete another ring.
Step #5:
At this point you can add something to the center, or you can create a smaller third row. There is less adhesive at this stage and it gets to be a bit tight, but I think the third row really fills in the flower.

Step #6:
Your Ribbon work is complete! Now, add a central embellishment. In my case I used a yellow button that I added a little bow out of twine to.
Step #7:
Peel away the backing and add to any card or creation! For my completed project today I used this adorable image Kid Pocket Topper - Girl with Ponytails, isn't she just too cute! I just love how these Glubers can be a great base for such a fun embellishment too!I hope that you enjoyed my tutorial today, thank you for stopping by!

This card was entered into the following challenge(s): Stamps: Kid Pocket Topper - Girl with Pigtails from Bugaboo Stamps; Paper: Whisper White, Rose Red, Rose Pink, Bo Bunny Ambrosia DP; Ink: E00 Skin White, E15 Dark Suntan, RV66 Raspberry; Accessories: Gluber, Glue Dot, PTI Button, Yellow Twine, Vintage Seam Binding

Paper Pretties Monday Challenge - Glitter!

Welcome to our thirty seventh Paper Pretties Monday Challenges! That's right! Each week we will be releasing 2 new images PLUS hosting a challenge so that you can play right along with us too! This week our challenge is to use the theme of "Glitter"!

One random lucky participant this week will win "3 Paper Pretties Digis of your choice". You do not need to use Paper Pretties stamps in order to play along, but if you do, you will get a bonus entry into the drawing! Please be sure to mention our challenge and link back to the Paper Pretties blog in your project posting. When uploading to SCS or PCP please use keyword PPMC39.

Now it is time to share with all of you our two newest Digi Whatnot images, and you are going to love them! Please welcome our newest Digis, we have 2 this week! For my card I used the new image Catisha, isn't she cute! All dressed up like a butterfly...I wonder if she could fly with this get up on. I paired her with some of My Mind's Eye designer paper Happy Go Lucky, I know it was from last year, but I just love the colors and patterns so much. Of course she needed to have some glitter somewhere so although you can't see it very well I used Smooch Frost on her wings so they are all glittery in person.

Thank you for stopping by today, I do hope you enjoyed my creation! Have a fabulous day!

There She Goes Mother of All Blog Hops!

Welcome to the 3rd annual Mother of All Blog Hops sponsored by There She Goes Clears Stamps! Over the next two days, we (customers and trendsetters!) will be featuring some of our favorite There She Goes Clear Stamp sets! Not only that, we’re going to give YOU a chance to win some fabulous prizes! To find out how, please go to the There She Goes’ Blog and read the simple instructions.

For my card today I am featuring the stamp set, Garden of Friends. I have so many There She Goes stamp sets, but I always pull this one out when I want to make a floral card, this specific card I am going to be giving to my Mother for Mother's Day. I just love this image and the details within it are remarkable, plus I thought this sentiment was perfect for what mom's are all about. I used this fun Bo Bunny designer paper and lots of golden yellow tones and a nice rose shade. I added some satin ribbon and self adhesive pearls plus I covered the entire image with smooch frost which leaves a lovely glitter and shine.

Please click on the InLinkz below and follow it to the next blog!
