Baseball Trio from Bugaboo!

Today's Freebie Friday is a fabulous way to build up a huge collection of images from Bugaboo Stamps! Today's Freebie image is "Baseball Trip", I just love the scene that Jodie created with these A Kid's View images, it puts a smile on my face looking in AKV images!

For my card today I wanted to use bright and vivid colors to match the excitement that baseball is all about. My brother played baseball for years and my Dad coached all sorts of teams, in fact he is coaching this year too for a 14u division, even though my brother is not a part of the team. I love watching the kids try and when they hit a base hit or help a team mate get home, it is so awesome to see. So with all of that said I think baseball can be exciting, so what better way to show that then to use bright colors and lots of stars! I do hope you like my creation and hop on over to the Bugaboo Store and pick up your freebie image today! Have a great day, be sure to come back tomorrow to see our weekly challenge!

Please note: We make every attempt to post freebies first thing in the am, however sometimes it just does not happen, please check back with us if they are not uploaded, it will be there and you have one full week to download it!

Faux and Flourishes!

Good morning all! Today I get to share with you the card I created for the new Inky Impressions Challenge! This week Lisa is our challenge host at the Inky Impressions Challenge Blog, and her challenge to all of you and the Inky Inkettes is to create with Faux and Flourishes!

Today the Inky Impressions Design Team will be sharing our creations for the current Inky Impressions Challenge! For my card today I didn't know where to start with this one since I don't have many "Flourishes", but the hair on this image Nickie's Birdie I thought was like Flourishes the way it is blowing in the wind. For my "Faux" element I used my Die-Namics to create some flowers around the main image. I also decided to play along with this weeks Mojo Monday Sketch (the square version). I love all the layers and I thought that the layout worked well with the current Inky Impressions Challenge! I used this stunning paper from The Girl's Paperie - Kitch, I really like the soft colors that this paper line uses and I pulled out the blues and greens from this sheet. I also popped up the flowers from the main image and added pearls to the center of each flower. To tie it all in I used a matching green ribbon to create a bow over the side panel and some pearls to finish off the sketch.

I hope you like my take on the current Inky Impressions Challenge, be sure to join in on all the fun over at the Inky Impressions Challenge Blog and see what the rest of the Inklettes have created, they are sure to impress! I can’t wait to see what you create! Have a wonderful day all!

An Inky Impressions Rockin' Release!

Today is finally here! I am thrilled to say that today is the Inky Impressions New Release Blog Hop! I can't believe that today is my first release as part of the Inky Impressions Design Team! I am so excited to get the chance to share these brand new cuties with you! If you didn't hop over to my blog from Tanya's Blog, be sure to head on over Inky Impressions Challenge Blog to make sure you don't miss one bit of this great release hop! You have from now until Sunday, April 17th at midnight EST to comment on all the Design Teams Blogs and leave a comment on the last stop listing your favorite image form the release for a chance to win 2 of the new releasing, 1 sentiment, and some fabulous embellishments!

I have the pleasure of sharing with you Lizzie's Finger Painting! This adorable stamp shows a totally adorable little girl Panda enjoying herself while painting a very special Happy Birthday sign for someone near and dear to her. I love how there are three little containers of finger paints and how she tries to remain neat with her work, but drops of paint still get all over, which always seems to be the case with painting. The two little bows that she is wearing always make me smile, they are just darling! I decided since she is a little one that she would probably stick with the primary colors or Red, Yellow, and Blue therefore I used that color pallet for this card.
I decided to play along with the current Sketch for You to Try! Each month there is another fabulous sketch for you to play along with and I thought that this months sketch would be perfect for this new image,
Lizzie's Finger Painting!

I hope you enjoyed stopping by my blog today, the next stop on the
Inky Impressions New Release Blog Hop is Carrie's Blog! I just know she will be rocking with more Rockin' her new images as she always does! Enjoy the rest of the hop ladies, and get ready to fill those shopping carts! Have a wonderful day all!

This card was also entered in the following challenges: AiFactory - Party Animal; Anita Be Stampin Challenge - Anything Goes.

Easter Babies Blog Hop!

Good morning all! Today some of the Paper Pretties Design Team members are sharing with you their creations using the Easter Babies digital stamp set! The blog hop kicked off at the Paper Pretties Blog, so if you didn't head here from Amber's Blog, be sure to head on back to the beginning so you don't miss any of the fun!

This Digital stamp set is filled with super sweet images and sentiments perfect for any Easter creation, but that's not all! This set is also illustrated by our wonderful Joni and we all know how darling her images always are. If all of that wasn't enough, the proceeds from this set (minus paypal fees) are all going to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation! Here is the full set for you to drool over! Look at how much you get inside! The images that I used for my card today are the Easter Eggs located in the top right corner of this watermark and the sentiment "hippity hoppity Easter's on it's way"! Plus since it is a digi set I flipped the egg images and printed out 4 instead of the 2 shown in the set and colored them all in differently. It is really hard to see, but the background where the eggs are attached is scored in a lattice type look, and there are lines above and below the sentiment as well.

I do hope you liked my card today, be sure to continue hopping along your way to the next blog for more Easter Babies fun! Your next stop is Jacquie's blog, I know that she will have something amazing to share! Oh, and if you haven't picked up the set, be sure to do so, it benefits a great cause and you get some super cute images to boot!
Stamps: Easter Babies from Paper Pretties; Paper: Whisper White; Ink: Y38 Honey, BG53 Ice Mint, Y02 Canary Yellow, RV55 Holly Hock, RV63 Begonia, V15 Mallow, G14 Apple Green; Accessories: Pop Dots, Scor-Pal

Crafty Ho's Color and Sketch with Heart Song Designs!

Good morning all! Today is Sunday, which means that it's time for another Crafty Ho's Challenge! That's right, a great group of friends of mine, the 'Ho's', created a challenge blog called Crafty Ho's Challenge Blog! Each week on Sunday we share with everyone more creations using the same challenge as inspiration! This week we are challenging you to create a card using the colors of pink and green and/or the attached sketch! Now this week we have great news! Not only do we have our regular challenge, but this week we also have a Sponsor! That's right, this week Heart Song Designs is sponsoring our challenge and one lucky challenge participant will win a free digi stamp from Heart Song Designs! How neat is that?! I am so excited, in fact the entire DT got the chance to work with one of these adorable Heart Song Designs images, mine is called Love Birds. I wanted this card to focus on the main image so I used solid colors for both the base and the layering layer and added a sentiment from PTI plus some pearls to accent things a bit. I also pop the main image up on dimensionals so that it draws more attention for your eye.

Be sure to check out the rest of our great group of Hos, I know their creations will be fabulous!

For my card today I used this cute image Scarlette Presents! I wanted to color Scarlette in all shades of reds and pinks and since I made her a brunette I also wanted to pull that brown out into the rest of the card. I used a soft suede card base and then kraft for the layer behind this fun dotted dp and for an additional layer for the main image plus this fun punched layer too. I don't know about you, but lots of layers is also lots of fun! I finished off the card with some fun self adhesive pearls to the main image and the punched background as well. I can't wait to see what you decide to create for this weeks challenge, I know you will have a blast!

Easter Scene It!

Today's Freebie Friday is a fabulous way to build up a huge collection of images from Bugaboo Stamps! Today's Freebie image is "Easter Scene It", I just love the scene she created with all these eggs and cute animals!

I am loving all of the Scene It images Jodie has been creating, but this one is just so darn precious! I decided to use muted colors for the image itself with the exception of the bright yellow I used for the tulips, I wanted something to pop. I also got the chance to use some of my new Bo Bunny Double Dot DP specifically the Buttercup Flourish, my LSS got this in almost two weeks ago now and I had happened into the store when they had just stocked the shelves with it, this paper is double sided with differently scaled flourishes. I used the smaller side for today to create more detail in the background. I got this paper in a handful of colors so I am sure you will see it again!

A Bugaboo Sponsored Challenge!

Good morning all! Today it is my pleasure to share with you that Bugaboo Stamps is sponsoring a challenge at the Crafters Digital Art Center! Plus, we are offering a freebie image, and not just any one, but this adorable Easter Bunny image that I used on my card above! The challenge to play along is an embellishment one, simple enough you will not want to miss all the fun!

For my card I used some of my De Lovely Delightful paper in just a strip and tied a ribbon and bow around it. I also popped the main image, our cute Easter Bunny image, on some pop dots and layered both pieces in green to create more contrast against the yellow card base. I had a lot of fin with this one, simple and sweet I think. I also added a sentiment of 'Easter Blessings' to the top left corner of the main image from Verve Stamps.

I do hope you enjoy my creation for today, be sure to head on over to the Crafters Digital Art Center and join in on the Bugaboo Stamps sponsored challenge! Have a great day!

This card was also entered into the following challenges: The ABC Challenge - "R" is for Ribbon; Creative Craft World - Easter; For Fun Challenges - Bunny; Simon Says Stamp Challenge - Spring Colors/Easter!
Stamps: Easter Bunny Tulips from Bugaboo Stamps; Paper: Whisper White, Spring Green, Golden Yellow, De Lovely Delightful DP; Ink: R20 Blush, R85 Rose Red, YG09 Lettuce Green, Y06 Yellow, N1 Neutral Gray No. 1; Accessories: Pop Dots, Satin Ribbon

Bunny Ears Lili!

Good morning all! Jackie here, and it is my turn to share a bit of Inky Inspiration with all of you! For my card today I decided to ink up this cutie Bunny Ears Lili! With Easter creeping it's way closer each and every day I know we are all trying to get our Easter creations finished in time to share with our loved ones.

I used one of my new Nestabilities Labels Twenty and cut out the Bunny Ears Lili image then went back and sponged in this fun pink shade around the image. I really like the effect it creates to shade in the background of the image, I think it helps pop out the image itself. I also used this sweet satin ribbon to create a bow to the side of the image to complete the card.

I do hope that you like my piece of inspiration today and I look forward to sharing more with all of you in the future! Have a fabulous day all!

This card was also entered into the following challenges: The ABC Challenge - "R" is for Ribbon; Creative Craft World - Easter; For Fun Challenges - Bunny; Simon Says Stamp Challenge - Spring Colors/Easter!

Spring Chickie!

I wanted to play along with another fabulous Whimsy and Stars Studio image for my post today and I decided that the image Spring Chickie would be perfect! It's just a sweet image, it just makes me smile, oh heck they all make me smile!

I have a blast each time I sit down and color in one of Mabelle's images, each image is so detailed and fun to work with. For this image I wanted to use lots of bright spring colors so I went with Ice Mint Copic Marker for most of her outfit with touches of Begonia on the flowers and some bright yellows to compliment the other shades. I used my Nestabilities Labels 14 to cut out the image and used some pop dots to make the image pop more, and if that wasn't enough I also got out a sponge and shaded the space around this cute Chickie!

Have you checked out the Whimsy and Stars Studio Store yet? Well if you haven't, what are you waiting for! You are going to love these fun images, they all make me smile, I know they will do the same for you! I wanted to create a little package of sorts that I could just send a thinking of you type of goodie inside, so I decided to make a pillow box and tie it off with some fun black satin ribbon.

This card is entered in the following challenges: Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes, optional Something New (nestie die!); Heart 2 Heart Challenge -Spring Has Sprung - Use Flowers!
Stamps: Spring Chickie from Whimsy and Stars Studio; Paper: Whisper White, Spring Green, Golden Yellow, Little Girl DP; Ink: Leon Tart, E42 Sand White, BG53 Ice Mint, YG09 Yellowish Green, RV63 Begonia, Y15 Cadmium Yellow; Accessories: Pop Dots, Twill Ribbon, Sponge, Nestabilities Labels Fourteen

Inky Impressions News!

Have you looked at my sidebar recently? Probably not, hence this post today. Since today is the 1st of April I can now share with all of you that I have been named to the Inky Impressions Design Team! I am thrilled to be working with Nicole again, I had a blast when I was a part of the DT last year and I can not wait to get started, so with that I decided to create a card to announce my new DT gig! I inked up this adorable Lili image, Stampalicious Lili! This cutie looks just like me in the mornings sometimes, bunny slippers, a robe and of course stamps in hand even though I am not fully awake, what better way to start the day could there possibly be?!I also decided to play along with this weeks Color Throwdown Challenge, I thought this color combination would be a lot of fun to use with this image. I like how this color combination has both subtle and bold colors, it makes for an interesting contrast in the final card. I had a lot of fun using one of my Cuttlebug Embossing folders and one of my Nestabilities Dies, plus I used my corner rounder which seems to rarely get used anymore. I do hope you enjoy today's creation, have a fabulous day!

This card is also entered in the Lexi's Creations Challenge - Ribbons, but no bows or knots.
