I love how warm and bundled up she looks, perfect for the cold that comes in February, and perfect for any Valentine's creation too. I wanted to make a card using colors that you don't see a lot in a Valentine's Day card, so I pulled different colors from this sheet of Basic Grey paper in the Sugar Rush pad. For today I decided to ink up A Box of Love, one of four new Pure Innocence images to be released this month. I don't know about you, but the Pure Innocence line from My Favorite Things has grabbed my attention since I first saw one image posted with these cuties! It was so hard to decide where to start with these images for me this month since they were all so darn cute, I finally went with this image for today's card and I love how it turned out! I also got the chance to use one of this month's new Die-namics, are you ready for this one? It's called the Flower Border Die and it is just precious, simply perfect for any Pure Innocence creation, especially the adorable love-y ones that are being released this month!
Isn't this Die-namic just too cute! I used it as part of my ribbon embellishment, I thought it would be a different way to show off the die. I also layered the darling candy box so that it popped up at you, they are screaming my name they look so yummy! Then to finish off the entire card I added a few Baby Bradies from the Adornments section of My Favorite Things, I have these in so many colors that these cute little pink ones are just perfect for and some straight pins I found too!

Now onto my creations! I couldn't decide which of these two sets to play along with, so I inked them both up! First up today is the soon to be released Flopsey, Ice Skating Flopsey! I used this fun and wintery blue paper and a few different shades of blue. I also used the Die-namic Let It Snowflake dies to create this layered snowflake and finished off the embellishment by adding a white button with a bit of bakers twine tied in a bow. He is always such a cuddle and cuddly bunny!I also got a chance to play along with the new Flapper Doodles stamp set Cheers to a New Year! MFT Teaser Time!

Today is the first Teaser Time at My Favorite Things! That's right, I was invited to be part of the December Temp Team at My Favorite Things! Today we are sharing with you creations using three fabulous stamp sets! I decided to play along with the soon to be released stamp set Tweeny Teen: You Give Me Wings!

This stamp set is from the Tweeny Teen Line at My Favorite Things and she is simply fabulous! Not only do you get this adorable main image, but this set comes with four different sentiments. I picked out the sentiment 'Spread Your Wings and Fly' for my card and layered it on some oval punches and then popped it up on pop dots!

For the focus of my card I cut out this adorable fairy image and popped her up on a nestabilities large oval and sponged in a field of color. I also went through my Die-namic stash (yes, I have lots) and used my Scalloped Scallop Die as part of my card. I love this Die-namic, in fact this was the first one I owned and I got it as part of one of the VIP kits before Die-namics were released. Then of course, no card is complete without some ribbon and a giant bow for good measure.

Eggbert at Bugaboo Stamps

My Paper Pretties November Release Post is below, please scroll down! Now today's Freebie Friday is a fabulous way to build up a huge collection of images from Bugaboo Stamps! Today's Freebie image is "Eggbert"! I just think this image is too cute! Be sure to take advantage of today's Friday Freebie while you can!

With this card I wanted to use the winter feel the image has, but I wanted to use colors that you don't see as often with winter images so I pulled out my Jolly By Golly DP from Cosmo Cricket and used two different teal shades and some yellow for my card today! I have been sorting through my crafting goodies and I found these Heidi Swapp snowflakes, I knew I had a package of them some where! I decided to use a button and some twine to create a fun and wintery embellishment to match the rest of the card. I do hope you like my creation and hop on over to the Bugaboo Store and pick up your freebie image today! Have a great day, be sure to come back tomorrow to see our weekly challenge!

For my card today I decided to use this cutie Flower Bear Blossom! I had a lot of fun using this adorable image and I also had a lot of fun play with these colors! I decided to make this flower a darker shade of purple and I think it works well with the Basic Grey Sugar Rush DP.

I had so much fun with this, I hope you enjoy my card and be sure to hop on over to the Bugaboo Blog to check out the rest of the Design Teams creations! I do hope you like my Oldie But Goodies today, I am still having so much fun with these images! Have a great day all!

BUT, not only is today a Challenge, but it is also a peek of another fabulous new stamp set to be released on Friday....AND it is also a Birthday Blog Hop! I know, oh my goodness are we Prettie Girls one crazy busy bunch or what?!

Today is Jennifer's Birthday! Many birthday wishes are heading you way Jennifer! Since we can't get together to celebrate Jennifer's birthday, we are hopping around and hosting a virtual birthday blog hop, or our little Paper Pretties Party if you will! We are kicking things off at the Paper Pretties Blog blog, so if you haven't started there then you better head on over, but if you are joining me from Frances' blog then you found the right place!

This week our challenge is to create a card that uses some form of embossing! Simple enough, and with so many choices! Not only so many choices, but also we are previewing the stamp set Everyday Sentiments! This stamp set has 10 different sentiments to choose from as well as these adorable circles to create with, in fact I used two different sentiments stamps and all 4 circles images! For Jennifer I wanted to create a fun card and decided to use the sentiments "Celebrate" and the "you" portion of "Thinking of you", which resulted in the "Celebrate you"! It is a bit hard to see, but I have used crystal clear embossing powder on the sentiments and the circle image that is between the sentiments. I wanted to create some background paper with the circles in the stamp set and gave each image a different color then mounted the paper on matching color card stock and added a giant bow!

Just a few reminders about Paper Pretties! We are now State side, which means faster shipping times, lower shipping costs, and fabulous customer service!
